AEGOS
Thank you again for the very informative and factual posts.
It's a pity that this board is full of posters who repeat, repeat and repeat negativity, misinformation and unfounded conspiracy theories, based on nothing except impatience and frustration with their own decisions to probably buy their shares at too high an average price. So everyone is to blame except themselves.
In reality we all knew this was initially agreed as a 12 year JV, and therefore can't complain if the time-frame is slower than we all hoped.
This year will be a very good year for share-holders, but please would all the theorists and pessimists not then claim that they always believed that this would happen........
bhargav
The collapse of the Silicon Valley Bank and likely resulting contagion, together with AGEOS's prospect of a possible ANZA integrated mining complex, may see your 50p forecast reached by Xmas............
AGEOS
Thank you very much for today's posting and your previous very informative contributions. The possibility of an integrated mining complex at Anza raises the value stakes much higher, and I have bought a few more more today, as a result.
Incidentally all today's trades are buys.
ALL postings on this board, positive or negative, have no effect on the speed and final outcome of the JVA, on OMI board decisions, and subsequently the share price.
Seingred is not some successful mastermind investor. His postings two weeks ago on ARB :
I am a small time trader, no £££ millions in my account, so need to be careful. I haven't got any spare cash, so trading is only way to increase holdings.
In only a few months, it may be sooner, OMI will be multiples of today's share price.
In the meantime to all LTH's, enjoy spring and early summer, and ignore negative posters.
Seingred, Sotola and Jackbal are all very prominent members of my filter box..........
Hi breaktwister
Omi is now my only Aim share. I did make a lot of money on NCYT in the early days of the pandemic, but sold out long ago.
My major investments are with Mercer and in Premium Bonds..
Hi PortfolioPower
Thanks for the many excellent postings on OMI. I have already made 40k+ on Omi and still own a million shares @ 2.87p. I fully agree with your positivity, and expect Omi shares to treble in 2023.
You have obviously made your own good luck on other shares, and am sure that you will have the same success here.
So many conspiracy theorists - it's ridiculous that some posters think Agnico H.O. would instruct their geologists and engineers to drill in the wrong area, to enable them to announce poor drill results. Agnico will be answering to Newmont for such poor and very costly drilling decisions, and you can bet that their Columbian team will not be making the same mistakes again, without some retribution.
It is none of the 3 companies interest to delay drilling and the phase 2 agreement.
Rob is quite right 'your health is your wealth' and I'll give you another one that some on here should think about ' Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but the present is a gift'
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
Bhargav - As I'm sure you know by now, you have probably been over positive at times in the last 4 years. Now you are in danger of becoming too negative.
Yes, there are unforeseen delays in the signing off of phase 2, the 2m payment and the drilling campaign. But it is only temporary, at best a month and at worst 3 months. Not long to be patient, when there are so many people in hardship in the world and at least 50000 deaths in Putin's war.
And we will still own 49% of a potential monster, will be negotiating hard not just for the 2m but almost certainly for a further payment structure in the new deal.
So in my opinion we won't need to raise money, the drilling will bring excellent results in the new year, and you will become Mr Positive again.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Seingred
I am not a fool. I bought 1.25m shares at an average of 2.87p, and sold 250000 at an average of 30p, and still hold 1m. Of course, with hindsight I should have sold more, but the 75k was put to good use, and I'm happy to wait for the 30p+ prices to return, and they will in the next few months.
Of course you can reduce your average cost price by trading. My point is you would be unable reduce down to a CURRENT average of 4p by selling and rebuying at share prices between 8p and 40p, however many trades you make, unless you bought in big quantities under 4p, and only traded very small amounts. But from your own posting history that doesn't look likely.
I wish you well.
Jackbal - It's an impossibility because of the huge spread that we have seen in the share price - from 1.8p to 40p+. Buying and selling in these last 2 years would always increase an average to well above 4p.
Bhargav - Seingred hasn't got an average of 4p. He posts regularly about selling high and buying back lower, so a current average of 4p is a mathematical impossibility. I wonder what else he is kidding about?
To all posters - don't believe everything you read here - everybody has an agenda.
SectorInspector - There is another view that Newmomt/Agnico want to wrap up the buying of Anza asap because it suits their business strategy. OK its a gamble because they will have to judge the possibility of overestimating the resource, and offering too much to OMI. But equally underestimating comes into play as well, and they could think the risk is worth it, to get full control in the next few months.
Would OMI be prepared to sell and at what price? It may be in OMI's and its investors best interest.
IMO Newmont/Agnico will be using the phase 2 negotiations to sound out the possibility of buying Anza outright from OMI. IMO they already know a lot more than they are saying about the potential resource, and will be able to estimate from ground studies carried out, and the probable timing of permits, how good future prospects will be.
There is no benefit to them in continuing to carry OMI, its board and its investors.
How soon and how much are the questions?
Great, well thought through post, 28jaczar01. Potential and patience are the keys to successful investing.
Brad gave the game away in the presentation . His words - be it a buyout or another JV - the only questions are when and for how much.
It will be a substantial price and may come much more quickly than anyone on this board thinks.
Bhargav/Chickenlegs
I am sorry that you both seem to have previously bought badly on a rising market, and have then sometimes set unrealistic targets and aspirations for Brad to achieve in order to gain a better share price, and recover your paper losses. As a LTH ( as long as Bhargav and more than Chickenlegs ) I question your motive in continually blaming Brad.
He is not in charge of the news flow relative to Apta - Newmont/Agnico are, and if you don't like it - sell up and go. Continually posting negative comments because you are depressed with your paper losses is doing you no good, and is not helping the share price to recover.
The news flow from Newmont/Agnico via Brad will improve - we all know that - and the share price will be much higher -
but please accept that it was your choice to buy at the price you did.
Investing in Aim shares is a gamble, and there have been hundreds of failures. OMI will not be one of them.
Newmont/ Agnico are running this show. They will decide the rate of progress over the next 9 months and beyond, not Brad or OMI, and definitely not posters on this board.
Newmont/Agnico didn’t take over operations to sit on their hands. This will take off in the new year.
Only 2 months ago !!! While a long time coming, these completed drill results are SPECTACULAR, and give us ( OMI, Newmont and Agnico) great comfort that ANZA has the potential to be a MAJOR GOLD SYSTEM.
All of Lorysur's shares will be in the hands of long term investors from Monday, and will not come back on the market.
Newmont/ Agnico will announce huge steps forward in the next 12 months, and will own 51% in less than a year.
OMI's value will muti-bag.
Remember all your sells are being bought by the sticky hands of positive PI's and Investment Funds. They know the potential....
