Dealer’s upset with his EUA shares and is blaming anybody except himself.
Degsey is MasksNewNorm on here and tidy2 on Advfn, and I am pleased to see him being so positive.
Tomorrow is going to be a good day.
Rob's correct in his comments. Every day notification of buys and sells are held back deliberately to manipulate an actual buy into an apparent sell. It's as simple as reporting the trade at the time to suit the MMs, and not at the actual correct time. Also a small alteration to the spread will make a buy appear to be a sell, and vice-versa
Rob - I've been reading your posts and you've got a fair old chunk of shares now, as has Mercman. Congratulations to you both on beating me on numbers but I suspect my buying price is better.
Either way, we are going to become millionaires with OMI, and so can other posters if they are patient and understand the role of MMs.
Whether you are an optimist or a pessimist, whether you are geologist or a non-geologist, whether you are a LTH or a newbie, CHILL and just let the drill results speak for themselves.
If you put together all the gold ever mined in the world, it would fit in a cube 20metres x 20metres x 20metres !!
Apart from the on-going cost of Covid to the world's finances - we've hardly scratched the surface - there are still huge unresolved geo-political issues - Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Syria, and the USA is completely divided with big social problems to come.
The price of gold will remain high, and Newmont will have already planned to take full advantage of this, by mining as much gold as possible during the next couple of years.
Columbia is the world's biggest emerging market for gold. Anza is in a 'Sweet spot', and Newmont will accelerate drilling very quickly to take advantage.
Your OMI shares are worth their weight in gold......
Just filter fART
All the best for a complete recovery. The NHS nurses and doctors are doing an unbelievable job, and all of us should be very grateful. Wealth without health is worth nothing. Just ask those people in hospital with Covid, or worse have lost a loved relative to this horrible virus.
OMI is the biggest opportunity on AIM to make serious money. Well done Mercedesman and Rob.
It's not certain that the the first drill results will be available before the webinar. Obviously the timing is dependent on the the Peru lab, which reported Covid delays. The webinar was probably booked weeks ago by OMI, when they would have assumed their availability.
Nick von Schirnding was not brought in to sit around. I believe that OMI are fully expecting to be taken over this year by Newmont, for multiple £1's in the share price, and need more experience in their team to search for future prospects (allowing for Covid restrictions).
The gold is in the ground, and whatever Brad/OMI say or don't say, just be patient, and we will be the big winners.
Art - On the AMC board 8th Jan, 11.05 your quote - To get a major partner or even two is the way to do this i.e maximise the value of a mining project...............
OMI up 28% on TSX, and highest volume for many weeks. AIM to follow tomorrow.........
A merry and healthy Christmas to all OMIers.
Bhargav- I get your joke.........
Newmont and Agnico are hugely successful gold mining conglomerates. They would not be partnering OMI if there was any doubt about Anza being a highly sought-after and a very profitable project.
They are running this show, just be patient and trust their ability to make all the right decisions. You will be rewarded.
Aegos - Thanks for your reply. I am happy to leave it to others to judge which was the more likely reason for the Outcrop/ Newmont agreement to be terminated 6 months ago.
Phoebus - Great summary. The mms are deliberately trying to hold back the price, with larger buys being classed as sells because of incorrect timing.
Ageos - Thank you for details of your experience. In a recent post you mentioned colleagues of yours in Outcrop Gold, which was of course previously called Miranda. Does that mean that you worked for Miranda/Outcrop?
In 2018 Newmont signed 2 similar agreements with Miranda and Omi. In 2020 Newmont's geoscientists and field geologists advised Newmont that Miranda/Lyra ( effectively the land between Buritica and Anza ) was not worth pursuing and Newmont withdrew from the agreement, to focus all their attention on OMI.
Are you and your colleagues still unhappy with that decision?
Ageos - I don’t why all the world’s leading mining companies employ field geologists at very high salaries when they can just recruit an armchair geologist like yourself, who will direct them on a computer screen to huge mineral deposits.
We will be back over 20 in a flash....... then it will be the 30’s........ and by the end of January the 40’s.......
