First decent post I’ve seen today Jolly from the side of those with a currently negative view on I3E.

I’m a perma let’s stick to the facts and show a bit of perspective - you don’t have very much - SP goes up and Management are great , sp goes down and they are sh@t. Like I said - with the opportunities in Oil and gas - your moaning and holding onto a stock where you don’t rate Management - does not make a lot of sense - too emotional and a lack of perspective imo.

Two questions which I imagine you cannot answer:

1) how do you know they were not discussing the loan notes 6 months prior - you absolutely don’t.

2) how do you know they I ignored - aside from this statement not making any sense - you don’t have any basis to state this and is the kind of misinformation you and Joe like to peddle.

Its not such a weak response - I think its a great question ! For someone that fancies themselves as a knowledgeable / sophisticated investor - its extremely puzzling that you are still here "waiting for a correction" in what you think is a poorly Managed Company - thats not great investment management . There are lots of great Companies in Canada including small caps - but i'm not going to do your research for you - suggest you spend less time moaning and more time doing a bit of research and i'm sure you will come across one.

Why are you still here if you have zero confidence in Management - there are plenty of decent Oil Companies in Canada with low valuations and Management Teams that are rated within the Industry - its a real puzzle - you must enjoy moaning !

I don't think so at all - there have been no indicators that I have seen for that to be the case. No apparent synergies and remember they were only prepared to stump up 50% of the cost of Serenity (£7m) and this was an appraisal well. Inishkea at $45m a well (30% cos and an exploration well ) is a completely different ball game and needs a Company with deep pockets. i3e's shareholders I think would go nuts !

I'm interested to here why you think there are any legs in this.

Here's the update for you:

1) "WTI down" - WTI currently at $88.50. I'll do the maths for you - $12.50 above their forecast = $$$ - handsome!!!

2) "AECO down" - August avg = CAD 2.60, Sept avg = CAD 2.45. However, these are the hedges:

01-Aug-23 31-Mar-24 10,000 CAD 2.760

01-Nov-23 31-Mar-24 15,000 CAD 3.226

Hedges are in the money and provide some cushion to the lower than forecast Gas Prices - however, strong Oil Prices and slightly stronger NGL prices ensure that cashflows / cash in the bank is significantly above target.

3) "No Court update" No official update but as per communication via email - proceeding with no issues anticipated. They did say they would update as it progress so personally I dont see a problem. Not required in anycase to pay the Q3 dividend!

4) "no dividend update" - pay attention Grandad - i3e have previously announced that the dividend is subject to the quarter end financial checks agreed with the lender. We're still in Q3. This is going to be a formality as i3e confirmed in the interims that they were in compliance with all loan Covenants as of end of June - Oil prices have strengthened considerably since then - so expect an announcement shortly. Plus the interims (issued end of August) still indicate the intention to pay the dividend.

I assume that you are a shareholder - talking down your own stock to try to prove a point against me comes across as a little childish and makes you sound more stupid than you probably are - but perhaps you are that stupid !

5) "Share Price Down" - well lets see where it ends up - I sold out of GASX to add another 350,000 here a few days ago at 12.90p

Some good posts on the options for Europa in case Iniskea doesnt come about and realising value (merger / takeover). Good option now perhaps - massive synergies in merging 3 expensive Management teams looking after what is a relatively small asset.

A significant issue though is the conflict between shareholders and Management interests - I suspect Will Holland would not be too keen to give up the CEO perks as im sure is the case with the other companies/ceo's - we may have to start a PI action group if Will fails to deliver.

Jezzoo - I gave my take below - Q3 covenant check. After putting these new BOD quarterly reviews in place and strengthening financial oversight - probably not a good look if they short cut the process before their very 1st review.

There's been no drilling so nothing to update there. Dividend as they previously said is subject to the above check as is an expanded drill program. I'm not sure what else we could reasonably expect before the above checks.
