As close to an arbitrage situation as i've been - for a short while I could sell at 7.81p and buy back at 7.8p.

Not quite enough to cover the commission. SP very steady today - was able to trade a very small portion and cover the cost of a Magners 4-pack.

Been hardly any buyers all day - Could'nt sell in any volume until an hour or so ago. Spread has narrowed significantly and oil and gas prices are on the rise again. May see the SP tick up into the close.

They done seem to go out of their way to report the Oil component which is surprising since historically this seems to be the most valuable fraction. I pulled it from the bar chart on page 44 of the re-admission document. Its difficult to read the chart properly and the Oil number is probably higher at 1500 to 1600 bopd. The gas fraction seems to be reasonably consistent at roughly 58 -60% of the mix, but I understand there can be more variations in the Oil / NGL & Condensate fractions depending on various factors.

Dont know Hurricane very well , I took a quick look at it a year or so back. It looks like things havent gone so well for them since. High debt, lost their long time CEO and founder, pushed back development drilling a year. I would tend to side with GGG from what I see at a glance. Even Malcy seems a bit glum.

We're a Gas Stock with a bit of Oil - we only produces about 1300 bopd Oil. Also they have to deliver the dividend - lets see whether it meets expectation.

I agree - the RNS is light compared to Mirabaud whichever way you slice it. Bear in mind that I3E have not given a figure for the dividend and the number everyone has in mind is the Mirabaud number.

Also, the RNS states:

"forecasted 2021 net operating income (revenue minus royalties, opex, transportation and processing) of approximately CAD $35 million (US $27.6 million) based on mid-February strip pricing, an estimated maintenance capital budget of approximately CAD $3 million and excluding any additional production volumes associated with i3's recent Noel production test (referenced below)"

I3E have defined Operating Income above - is G&A deducted ?

Mirabauds $29.6 - is G & A deducted ?

He claims to have made money on I3E (got out early). But his overly negative stance on Management suggests to me otherwise - but who knows.

For Jimbo - that's a glowing report and his comments are fair enough. I notice he could not bring himself to say he thought I3E is cheap, though I suspect he does.

Would you mind pasting what he's written - I cannot see it - he has blocked me presumably for trolling him!

I went to Oil Man Jims twitter to see what he makes of I3E's latest developments - he previously was pretty bearish and could be relied on to give an alternative view. It seems he has blocked me also . My crime - I think I accused him of having an anti I3E agenda.

In addition to my previous post. Have you seen anywhere, where I3E give the Oil Production as opposed to the Gas / Liquids split. I may be going doolally - but the only place I can find it is on page 44 of the October re-admission document. Take a look - this is related to my previous question to you.

it tells me that they will look at sustainable turbine blades and batteries. I did see an article very recently on recycling blades which I would bet money on that you have seen also.

One thought I had was to use more oil with Carbon Capture to generate electricity, For various reasons - I dont think it will go this way.

It does reminds me of an something - I3E were touting their green credentials with the Weyburn carbon capture facility they had aquired through Gain. A number of us were asking what happened to this and whether we lost it with the Harvard sale. I guess the answer to that was yes since it was not mentioned in the RNS - money talks ! Perhaps this was part of the reason the Harvard Assets attracted such a good price.

Good question Fastfood and I saw Elon Musk making a similar comment. The scientists and Engineers will find a way !
