LTI, just a thought, if CC is so highly praised, as possibly perfect, why do you think L+T have opted to take another AMI company on board. Are they teaching CC/JC a lesson or ditching CC having possibly borrowed elements of CC software. It must be more than just signing an alternative to their list of partners. They didn't need to.

Well ITT, didn't they do well with funding. So JC for CC had gone to all of these awards and won scores of them whilst Kalkitech do not bother and rule the roost. Something for JC to ponder.

Hello Chianti. Nice to hear that there is some life in RF. Colour would have us thinking that it is dead and buried. The SIM business started with the new boy and apparently is generally thought to be the wrong direction. In India heads come and go and policies are constantly reversed. Will the SIM system be able to control outages which is a priority, its not just for meter reading and catching thieves.

The pilot which was completed, I take it, was then showcased to all heads in India and was well received so now starts to show returns so has the roll out begun or has this been delayed. This could stabilise CC's economy.

Hello Vas.. They are a sorry lot today. My understanding on Mysore is we took lead on behalf of ENZEN who financed. This was exceptional and I believe the first lead for CC, as I understand it they did very well and stood out on quality and efficiency to the point that they became a showcase. It seems only the late entry of SIMS, which could not be foreseen, changed the outlooks for public utilities and that may well be rethought. Colour I understood the need for 'always on' was for outages control which includes feed-ins, no use 30 minutes later starting up a reserve power station. BST don't bother to rubbish unless you are back in the gang.
