As I will not be there if you get a chance could someone what ask what income is arriving from UK Contract (how much) and how much was said to Connode as an advance prior to our acquisition. We are told income is arriving and that Connode received payments. Very important facts to avoid call on more funds especially as we are told existing funds will last til year-end.

It could be just the meters giving trouble at manufacture as CC has received 2 more contracts. However we should be kept a bit more up to date on our main foreign assets.

Hello Colour.. Could read just not respond. Loathed to admit but I agree with you on Mysore. As this was the showcase and main sales point we should have been kept up to date, instead of us (sorry should read me) going on about it being our inroad to India. Probably all OK but it makes wonder about Bangladesh, our big contract. This slight delay is dragging on.

You could well be right stedon but I don't have to worry too much AIM is side line and I have done alright. No sweat as they say. I filter information as it arrives and from whatever source. Always knew CC was going to be a punt and seldom knock it unlike yourself. However I feel sure, subject to not being taken out, that it will come good this year, so not 5 years wasted.

Hello ringworm.. Yes that has been sitting in the back of my mind. So far as we can see the product is good, its the clients that are the problem. I presume L+T prefers CC above the other company we talked about last month. If it suited them they would probably make a meaningful offer. A few million to them is peanuts. I think the Funds/JST would hold out for big settlement after all the time spent on speculation, they would not miss the big pay off. On the other hand you could see a buy out by the Funds/JST on any sign of a stock movement. The shares are in the doldrums not because of the product so any jump in SP would have to be very large to jump the buy-out hurdle.

I have been wrong in the past but I hope JC and co read this as to me not seeking more funding from shareholders could be the upturn that the market is looking for. With contracts arriving there are other ports of call for cash if needed. I think we need an follow up on Bangladesh, to define this slight delay.

ringworm.. I don't think placement is necessary and after all the previous years it would send out a poor signal especially amongst the people I know. There are enough minor groups of funds in and about to come in and the likes of L+T would possibly fund CC with advances or loans, as I have said before it is in these manufacturers interests to keep the software flowing.

jake just realised my response to your 14:03 did not get printed. I understand that SMETS2 is being rolled out from September so roughly ties in with your Oct. I recon part of the delay was also that they had stock piles of SMETS1. CC has been passed by GCHQ for security and now with its multi platform for other users it should be all systems go.

Interesting article jake.. Answers one question straight away, who did the CC job prior to SMETS2. So CGI did Foundation (SMET1) then the second question is why were they dropped. I take it that was because although they are saying so now, in fact their software didn't make SMETS1 interoperable. We have the SouthernUK 'notspots' but who has the Northern Contract 'notspots' The question of competition and what threats should be put to JC which he will have the answers to. I think they are saying they are IoT capable but JC says that we have now created software in meters that will accommodate transmissions from different IoT items so I presume their software is redundant. . I must admit I may not have this right but sounds good.

Colour do not defend yourself so poorly. Without sticking to every word, I took away from the table that CC should give up, EESL had it all. You only changed when it was obvious that SIMS alone were not the be all. That's why we have the UK Contact. If you run on 25% 'notspots' anywhere in the world that is big money.

Well Colour I seem to remember you all were all doom and gloom and EESL had all of India. Not so. Suddenly they come up against an obstacle and requirement is made for RF. We may or may not now be involved. FACTS change every 6 months in India. Although these orders are not very big and JC has suddenly produced them just before AGM as ever, at least there should be no call for funds as L+T is big enough to make advance payments and it looks like its mainly meter software. Yes I feel that CC has done enough PILOTS and these are probably just small orders more to get the ball rolling especially if short notice orders. Lets have some cheerful Posts at least until AGM. Thanks for that, jake.. Colour I may have to replace you with jake as the fountain of all knowledge. Pleased to see CC are achieving lift off. If CC have by chance got a 'white label' with EESL then things could definitely be on the up. To have their 'notspots' in any way shape or form would be a winner. I cannot attend this years AGM, have a prior engagement. As there seems to be concern someone might like to ask JC to fill in the cracks regarding why some contracts are quoted in units and others in �'s or $. Obviously a little bit of secrecy but should be able to tell the shareholders that CC is making immediate income and not giving the software away for peanuts. I think that we are on the move after JC said that he could not understand why his current orders in India were 4 and not 20 and he had just completed a new multi (platform?) which could take any IoT device. Once JC gets one or two more demand orders I think he will start to give detailed information, he is a salesman don't you know.

After all this time with CC share a quick question. It may seem ignorant but am I right in assuming the Control Room of a utility only needs one hardware setup from CC. The reason for asking is does it mean that once hardware is up and running multiple DCU's can be added time after time and just keep expanding, so all the Control Room work is done with the Pilot and CC can rapidly expand from that point onwards. Hope I am not going to regret asking this with Colour waiting in the wings.

Well this has been a hard uphill battle. Directors' costs are perhaps too high for the current returns. It is not necessarily their fault but never the less facts are facts.
