Hello Colour.. My goodness your stance is changing. I think you realise CC is on a winner. If you could be bothered to attend meetings you would gather much to your advantage. What you see on screen is what BOD can say publicly but it is the socialising that gleans the information. Perhaps you could actually put yourself out next time, SP may have risen enough to pay your train fare. Anyway although you don't deserve it after all your cussing you are probably going to earn now.

LTI I find your interpretations mainly correct following meetings but my lift from the speeches was that we were beyond Pilot stages and could go straight in which I think we are doing. Pilots were paid for previously but what Harry's was saying I believe is we do nothing for nothing, everything being chargeable.

Well LTI, putting together your comments and Vas. The new Omni will be the main product for Smart meters in India.
It it can expand at a rapid rate and as has been said with no further Pilots then it will go out like a stone in a mill pond with only Utilities boundaries getting in the way and may be some of them joining up for billing purposes. Do not know how much the New Omni costs but I should think that Utilities would not worry about a few Rupees when they can recover the Millions in losses quickly.

I don't know if I am part of the gang but I will drink to that. £1 not too distant future.

Reading some of the obstacles and excuses I think the roll-out would have been tackled better on a military style basis. Move into an area (in this case a sub-station or zone) upgrade every outlet regardless of whether it was 200k or 500 units a month, saturate the area until 90% of connections were established connected up to utility and move on.
Although Mysore took a little longer than expected it was new and the first Indian Government area to start, it proved very positive and I think will be the standard for roll-outs. Sometimes things cost a little bit more but when the Utilities money returns are flowing in quicker and without further delays they will be satisfied. Likewise with UK I feel the need for efficiency, back-up, security, controlling £11bn cost will see more involvement with CC.
I do not hesitate to think that CC will be on its way to being massive in 2019>20>21.

Hello Vas.. That is interesting because Mysore, the showcase of Indian Government, is part of Karnataka. May be it is not that easy but logically you would have thought the State Government would have looked at their own Mysore and copied it. Am I reading this wrong, they would have been well underway by now.

Just caught up on BB. Multi think allowing for normal graphs, buy/sell, the SP will slowly rise as the week's performance gets noticed elsewhere and analysts start to take an in depth look at CC's prospects. JC made a wise move recently in placing technical staff and managers in front of the screen. Viewers are used to JC speeches and think here we go again more money. This Presentation to the shareholders touched on some areas like India where we were beginning to have doubts but by the finish of our man on grounds talk I formed the impression that we were back in the game big-time and besides further contracts arriving imminently the larger picture of India would emerge in early 2019.
I have also questioned Harry from time to time but he does know his business.
It's my money that counts to me and I am happy.

Morning ITT.. Re my Thu 11:34, obviously if CC can find a better way to get minor funds for expansion they should do, as everybody has felt the effects of dilution BUT if they go down new shares route then my suggestion should satisfy most holders. So open offer 1 for every 2 held when SP reaches 20p offered @ 10p. Without an upward trend SP would even out at about 14p which if any not taken up CC could buy into treasury for future use or sell on market. If all sold would achieve £6.5m, enough to see us through and we all would get a fair crack at it. New totals 130m + 65m = 195m, still a good number for an expanding company.

No woolley, just a bloody good and honest presentation. You had to be there.

My summary is that the presentation was the most positive I've attended over the years. Anil is definitely our new man in India and JC did well to obtain his services, he is so in with the establishment and as he says he's Indian as well.
The roll out of cheap meters may suit the need to get numbers installed published but they appear not to be smart and that is what is currently required, I think CC will be needed to step in.

Colour if I were you I would give up at this stage, CC is about to take-off in India and your predictions are history.
If you still feel so strongly sell up, but then again you just can't chance it and miss the big one.
ITT I did mention rights issue to JC, not in detail, he was weighing options up but rights are a bit more costly to implement.

I believe in simplicity, EIS etc mean complicated tie ups.
I would like to see JC hold funding for a short while and when CC reaches 20p, which it will, offer all holders a 1 for 2 open issue at 10p so that all holders may participate in a straight forward offer and enjoy the achievements.

Multi, I think the Market is not being displayed properly and could be being held.
I asked about Pilots and any requirements in Indian Law, we are well beyond Pilot Stages and can push on apparently straight into Contracts, so CyanConnode is well approved of in India and I understand is currently being installed in PM Modi's home town, bearing in mind Elections.

Colour,it was stated a couple to times that the numbers listed were conservative and that contracts were taking just 4 months to develop as opposed to years previously, hence the need for expansion capital. Contractual money was arriving promptly on 60/90 day settlements said Anil, and others supervised at Cambridge end by our new director, Miss Moneypenny. The Omni was doing well but this new version seems very much in demand so I think we could see a break-even by year-end. Bit hopeful, I don't think so.

Hello Colour.. We have had a few duff leads over the years, not necessarily wrong but changes of policy which even JC cannot control. Trouble is when he has hyped up situation to 'golden goose' the fall is greater.
In this case I think that there will be changes in our favour. The newcomer Anil (I am sure he will not mind) has a different road map knows what is going on and is capable of controlling all aspects. I think 'Smart' will mean 'Smart' in India and quickly with Elections on the horizon. One for Bamby: 'I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes'.

Hello Colour.. I don't suppose you know what I mean, have you ever been to a CC presentation. You keep saying ask them this, ask them that and they give what is calculated and viewable. It is what goes goes on in the socialising that counts. I pick up a lot more than I give out and at this point in time I am quite happy with situation. I would not have said this before meeting.

Hello 2cv.. You are right the numbers listed are impressive. One that caught my eye was 22% services. Never observed this detail before and on speaking to JC runs between 18 an 22% depending on contract. That is considerable considering CC is virtually 100% reliable under any conditions. Our section of the Indian rollout will be fast I feel. Great interest is being shown in new Omni version as it takes care of the plug in and play problem for all IoT gadgets. The $16m. advanced orders says a lot.

Morning colour, the problem is you have to be there otherwise you get just the facts which you have a problem to deal with. You might just ask your Village People to take another look at situation in depth. May be turn over and put their other ear to the ground. There is a lot going on, not as simple as you have made it out. I think that we are going to get a good chunk of India's smart market some may be White Label, doesn't matter it's paid for contracts that count. To me Anil is the flavour of the Month, he is in touch in the right places. Any onlooker, you could make a lot of money here in next 6 months..
