Hello norfolk.. I think the BOD in those days was getting under pressure by an unbalanced smart market and a lot of moaners who were expecting the earth.
I don't think it's JST, who took a long time himself in procuring contracts in his home area.
I think it is the NOMAD's AIM accountability saying don't get too carried away.
To me a lot more to come in these next few months.

BST, you have run this intimidating list before, give up.
So JVVNL has ordered, after 2years delay, 430,000 units, that's nearly half the number Trilliant is on about in total.
Add to that Indore, Mysore, 2 Thailand contracts and the numbers are stacking up.
If CC was as not wanted as Colour repeats why would JVVNL order, after 2 years 430,000 units and presumably more to follow. We only need 500,000 to break-even p.a. so these numbers plus UK well exceed it and more to come.
In the short term I feel CC are going to do well. If we get the 4m units of MEA plus the rest of Thailand alone then things are on the up. To me it's as they say a no brainer but definitely DYOR.

All you lot, CC has had many up's and down's, mostly I would say through ill fortune due to Smart being new.
As an investor I feel that I have taken prudent steps with CC and now awaiting break-even which should be just around the corner if not already there. So to hit 15p point should not be too arduous and a matter of months.

Well done ITT.. You are an investor, you see the way CC is going. This is the way to reverse your losses.
If CC follows on with this contract bout I see 15p> 30> 50p. Plus a lot more if it's specialties and 'White Label' progress.
From this standing start you could well recover previous costs.

Hi Vas.. Did it say how many complained that they could not be connected with Smart meters, probably none.
No doubt the Utility gained by catching those not connected to meters.

Further to my 11:23.. Anybody have an idea as to how many other companies worldwide can match CC's notspot and 12km distance capability, disregarding price.
I ask this because most Smart suffer this apart from PLC which has other problems.
As this could be CC's claim to fame it would be good to know regarding 'White Label' etc.

Hello norfolk.. Nothing special going on there, it's just the market; without the wave there is no business.
What would be handy now is further update on Thailand, when the jvvnl 430,000 units will start to be delivered to meter manufacturer and an update on any success BI may be having now that it is producing meters. These things all take time but it is what the market hangs on.
Obviously product security is important so to load the modules with software for insertion must be carried out by trustworthy people but can still be done quickly.
I was reading an article about a month ago that was highlighting the amount of 'notspots' and difficult areas there were around the world, including U.S. where I thought they had been resolved. There is a lot to play for especially 'White Label' where companies do not like admit a weakness.

Trouble is Colour.. You have not named them, why? I think that is a good question mark. As you always challenge those statements. The first thing that comes to mind is why do we not know them, second what are their prices like, you know India or so you say. Another, why do you think CC were consulted by EESL last Nov, they wanted something and obviously Anil know's what. What do you think of Thailand, or can't you bring yourself to say anything positive.
As you are in the know what exactly is EESL proposing to get around 'notspots', they must have a lot or are they just leaving them until last to keep the numbers up, or are they (heavens above) using CC on the quiet.
Only you know all these things, joke, so may be enlighten us.

Ted, just your childish wishing. These recent contracts have sealed break-even so expansion following expansion will follow.
The ones to keep an eye on are Indore and Mysore both Government showcases for CC.
These were small starters (pilots, we do not like to use this phrase anymore) and now rapidly expanding; the point to note is that as Thailand took interest with a small starter jumped into gear within months and could just achieve the 4 million (MEA customers) in a short amount of time if they are satisfied.

Interesting Colour. We are involved with Tech Mahindra are we not. Has L&G got the full RF, big companies do not always have all the answers. Dont forget CC's 'White Label'. As we took over Connode for IPv6 so it is cheaper to sub a 'White Label' to solve a problem. If so there are massive opportunities.

Ooooops, Just re-read my BB. Don't get me wrong, I do not see bad debts as a problem. What I am saying is the seeking of contracts is now a lot easier as CC's reputation is growing for service, speed and security. So the next priority is getting paid. UK will probably be automatic but a close eye needs to be kept elsewhere.

I think that CC has established enough contracts now to, break-even shortly, progress rapidly, achieve that 15p SP that everybody is talking about as starters and getting itself a strong worldwide reputation.
It would be interesting to know how many other companies can match CC, Omni, price, speed. Of course Colour would know all that but it would be handy to know.
I think our problem now is not contracts but overseeing bad debts, making sure advances arrival before handing over product, making sure the technical's are not leaked. A very close eye needs to be kept on this and of course exchange rates. Product placing is dealt with and it now revolves round money. CC is in a good position.

Hello Colour.. As I understand RF is preferred because it can be put in anywhere, is secure, not expensive to expand,.
GPRS was cheap in India as you remember because of infrastructure but in long term was dearer. EESL could sling it all together using non-meter manufacturers but found it did not work like that, nevertheless GPRS was the commitment.
Q20 As I understand it Trilliant is using GPRS but is only doing head-end which as you say is receiving data for analysis i.e. not transmitting it from meter, unless I misread that.
Anyway mine and your interest is obviously CC who are doing well in Indore, Mysore, South India, Thailand and now these latest dated large volume contracts. It pleases ITT I hope so equally should please you.
If not there is something wrong with you. What will it take to please you.

JC got a good response to RNS and that was an older contract he waited on to come to life.
So now we have Indore already expanding, Mysore doing the same, the unnamed Southern India customer, the 2 expanding contracts in Thailand both new.. Even I could create a lot of interest with that sort of material.
Give up you three, recognise a progressing company. Its taken its time but it is there and will hopefully produce good returns for AGM. DYOR.

LTI/ITT, of course there is always the chance of a buy-out. JC is good at this.
If it did happen I would be looking for an excellent cash offer of £1 plus, and could be a lot more, or a 50/50 share offer.
Logic tells me that if this should happen and it is seen as the ideal 'one off' product then a consortium of the 4 main interested parties could well be the case. That is the 3 Indian leaders and our new Thailand manufacturer, even plus BI.
If CC, with its building penetration and 12km land distance, is seen as the bung that keeps Smart afloat, with a good price product then who knows. In this case it could be a little acorn. DYOR.
An optimist, yes, but there is a lot of logic here. I would prefer to carry on expansion or at least be a minor part of new consortium.

Absolute rubbish Colour. I thought you did not pull figures out of the air. Once JC makes an analytical list of achievements as CC starts to expand around India, Thailand etc the ones that come in low will be looking to see the outcome, a good spread sheet. The long terms will not want to sell themselves short. It is only the likes you you who would like to see £20m just to crow about the £50m outlay. I feel CC now has a long way to go over next 2 years. Others will be interested in manufacturing for CC as volume increases and some will take up 'White Label' offer who need that last mile connection without admitting that they have not got it, big and small companies.
JC has done well so far to keep his 'golden goose' protected and trusting those around him.
Producing at a competitive rate, using local facilities and only having to provide the Key Element at very low cost will bounce CC into a high Mcap.
It will turn out to be a good company for its staff to work for.
