Thanks for that LTI/Vas.. I think Reliance was impressed with Connode in their sector of Mumbai and when Cyan took over were probably relieved when it turn out to be business as usual.
LTI it was worth reading again June report, noticed an element of confidence regarding Bangladesh so who knows.
Feel sure Thailand is going to take off. I think all contracts will start to get much bigger now that CC RF is an accepted form of First Line Connection as well as being back up for others.

Well lads you sound like a group who should never have gone for a small company or AIM. I have only hovered around the edge of AIM because it is what it is, for start ups, some survive most do not. Few companies hang in for as long as CC and a CEO putting in that much money and effort. You are coming over as sad losers. You should have worked at your stock market skills, even pulled out. If you are in over 30p you could be moaning for the next 18 months but to me well over 100p is achievable in that time. We will probably know the beginnings in September or soon after.

jake, in the past I have had make decisions within minutes involving major incidents whereas you have probably had to make paper decisions and blame others. Entirely different, you don't use your brains.

Thanks for that LTI, I do read IoTnow but must say had forgotten that.
The need for smallness relating to meters, and everything inside, is where they have to go domestically. A friend told me a couple of years back that some meters were quite large for under-stairs etc.
I think that we will get a good return from CC for the size of company and the orders that are/about arriving.

If you remember CC supplies the add-ons to Genus, and presumably the other two, on a line of credit so there is no outlay as it is down to the manufacturers to place the orders. Modules made on credit> presumably then programmed> delivered to Genus etc and paid for on delivery at that point. Difference being immediate profit and other charges maintenance etc paid when meters finally installed. My take is that the big 3 bear the cost of any stock holding.

Colour whatever gave you the idea that CC was embedded in all 3 smart meters; however who knows they may be on next bids. I don't know and I suspect you don't.
B.B I have no doubt that JC has arranged for all shapes and sizes to be made.
The key to all this is the desire for RF by Indore etc and could it influence further purchases by State/Private utilities. Costs are important and vary from system to system but how quickly it can be installed, how quickly it can be rolled out and what is the return is also very important. When you are brassic money talks.
LTI, JVVNL have CC RF underway with the 430,000 unit order but do we know the situation with AVVNL.

Hello Vas, Somebody might have further insight but I was thinking of it being similar to UK unless EESL stipulate a fixed capability.
Where we change the HAT in UK, if needed India would take the meter cover off and ADD the module. All of the meters would already be SMART capable just transmission difference. Of course CC would have to be able to cope with size as if I remember correctly it was a large plate.
Of course if EESL wanted CC RF automatically inside all meters that would be very interesting.
Indore etc seem happy with CC RF as first line comms and it's making them money, important.

Hello Vas.. I read it slightly different. To me it is an internal add on. You remember earlier Indian Government said that it did not want externals like retrofit well I think that this is designed as an internal add on put in if needed.

What do you think of Indore and their expansion intentions and the 430,000 order from JVVNL.

Well Colour you may be right but equally you may be wrong. What were Hexing supplying. Look at the successful Indore and the large order from JVVNL. Who knows what EESL will go for under pressure, we will know with the snap bid.
At present Indore is very happy, making money and anxious to expand, not many can say that. Exactly what all the utilities/states want. I think CC is doing very well there and it was a Government showcase.
I think EESL must at this time be giving lots of thought into getting things done and pleasing the Government. Nothing worse than having a Minister on your tail.
