Hello ITT, my advice is you got excited when we left the 2p range, stay with it.
In the year to 31/3/20 a lot was achieved mainly in the last 6 months and remember CC is small company and does not need billions in contracts. Main items were Indore showing good results, Mysore still producing, Tangdesco, Thailand X 2, JVVNL. Much better than previous years and all developing, I still see 15p by 31/3/21 if not before.

2019 dragged out but Q1 and Q2 of 2020 should be interesting. I think quite a bit has happened around end of Dec 2019 and to-date. I would think we would get an update sometime during September.

Hello JCEP, don't let Colour fool you. I respond but it's his hatred for JC which makes him continue to knock CC.
Very occasionally he drops his guard and almost says something good about CC but never about JC.
He has probably lost more than a few bob in past, not averaged, and will not see it back for 10 years or if sold not at all.
CC has had down moments but I have always seen the upside of the product.
I feel CC is going to win this no matter what Colour says.

Colour not exactly history, 6 months, and follow on orders and Indore expansion and JVVNL 430,000 units.

That indicates to me a big disclosure, poss September, that is a serious jump from below 4p.
Something must be in pipeline (joke), may be Anil has been working his magic on top of JST's activities.

Vas, don't quite understand your line of thought. At beginning of this year MEA placed an order for CC RF followed by (RNS 23 March) further order for 206,000 units. So in quick succession 2 largish orders presumably placed way after your 33,000 reference. Does it not occur to you that MEA may be changing direction to totally RF.

Morning All.
Colour I have never thought much of your investment policy, as you just rubbish a share you hold out of spite.
However you obviously know a bit about the technical's. A question, what other companies do you know that match CC's RF spec. That is building penetration, Canopy link up, ease of installation and 12km distance etc You may not know but just in case. CC covers all of India's requirements and is I understand is lower priced for the RF element. Bangladesh may have different specs. It did seem strange CC not being involved in bid, was it more to do with the total price of meter or was it more political (US) or even a loss leader.
My other thought, hence question above, takes me back to 'Notspots' and 'White Label', by definition we do not know who takes them up (or not) and JC will need to make a separate financial category for anonymous sales. Big companies might take advantage of covering a short-coming.

Hi ITT, it will be interesting to see situation if JC covers it in Sept. Colour professes to know all about it.
Hopefully we will get a decent outcome for Bangladesh but as currently this is an add-on at to the Indian and Thailand contracts/possibles I see CC as making good money this year..
As I have said before CC is a small company and to achieve a £100m asset value would be a good starting point.
September is a few days away.

Vas/Colour seem to know a lot about Bangladesh but do we know who has got what. Other than the likes of Mysore and Indore where CC have been nominated as lead we do not normally get named on the roll-call.
We are associated with Tech Mahindra so could we be working with them.
Only a thought, I am sure Colour will know.

Hi ITT.. I think they said they did not need to because the contracts were at the stage where it could be done remotely.
I don't think we are going to know penny by penny what has been going on but at least it means things have been progressing behind the scenes. I would not have been happy with Furlough as it would have meant everything was put on hold which could have been disastrous.
I bet you have topped up again with all this anticipation.

Well Colour I refer you to your 12:13. Plane, as you coupled CC with the Virus, why mention otherwise.
What you are failing to acknowledge is that this year has some running contracts, read June statement.
You will get nowhere harping back over last year and beyond. You should have averaged down when times were tough, you would probably have a better outlook now, or may be not.
Lets see what any update brings.

ITT, I was allowing 6 months for Anil to come up with results so September would do nicely.
Colour, lots of big firms have been suffering with Virus costs and delays and some gone bust.
I don't think you can lay the Virus at CC/JC's doorstep, that would seem pathetic and we have not had half yearly yet.
Pedro seems to know a fair amount and we know Indore, JVVNL, Thailand is on the go, so that is
enough to start the SP climbing.

Trouble is Colour you have Tunnel Vision. Already it has been a funny year with the Virus and India is suffering yet they desperately want to forge ahead. If CC can fit part of the bill then Pedro is probably right and we will see a pipeline of sorts. On the one hand the Virus is causing delays everywhere yet on the other hand Indore with remote reading and control has come into it's own. We have seen all of the headaches in the past yet this is turning out to be a lot different.
Colour, if you don't get in now you will regret it.

Hello Pedro.. Things are starting to hot up I suspect, hope JC manages an update in September.
I wonder what Colour's thoughts are on a 'Bulk Purchase Fixed Price' order. It would certainly please CC to have a supply only pipeline order for say 10 million units. That together with the already individual contracts like Indore and JVVNL would certainly get the ball rolling. That opens India then add the icing of Thailand, I think that there is a lot to report.

I should not keep agreeing with you Colour but I am sure that JC is o fay with the situation.
The saving grace is that CC is an add-on and as long as it is secure should not be a problem.
As on most occasions we supply to the meter manufacturers we are dealing with them not their software manufacturer and therefore in India it's India node manufacturers to India meter manufacturers.
So it is principally the manufacturers that are getting the contracts with CC subbing, with may be odd exception.
Could be totally wrong on this but somebody will know.

Yes that's what I thought B.B. HES being the command element.
Even if it was a simple command error or a software fault it has obviously caused reverberations from customer to government level. If CC avoids any such problem in Indore then their updated model may be well received for future contracts. I should think that if there is a bigger problem then, as UK did with SMETS1 they will sort it and not replace it.

B.B India seems a little bit up in the air. The outage is going to cause major headaches from all angles.
HES could well be the source of any outage with Utilities so extra vigilance will probably be given to CC's Indore which seems to be holding up well. The the last thing they want is to pay out and then pay out again.
The Trilliant item is dated Sept 19 and as you say is HES only. Without getting too carried away CC RF seems to be proving itself, especially the latest can do anything version (LOL) update. The EESL Round Table with CC was November 19 so after that doc and a late call. You never know with India but Indore sounds like a cat with two tails so I recon CC is in the running all over the place and Thailand.

Thanks for the detail Pedro.. It will interesting to see how quickly it is taken up, I think Colour is right in saying he thinks roll out will be longer in India. To me this will suite CC providing the software is still desired. If Indore is making such a quick return on outlay coupled with speed, reliability and security then I suspect it will be sought after.
If CC got a bigger chunk of Indian market than it hoped for then supply might come into actual play not cost.

As all is quiet I read through June update again. Interesting Colour's recent comments on Jaipur etc. Nothing concrete but a good surmise which he shared. JC's comment about PEA Thailand coupled with what we know already re MEA contracts which are progressing, PEA being 5 times larger than MEA. Don't know much directly about finance arrangements but talking to people in the know it would appear that OPEX is the way to go, mainly because with very little upfront costs for Utilities they will be keen to get money saving contracts underway.
Boring you, sorry but it's a drawn out industry. For CC it could have good rewards for a small company.
