This is massive news, China is the biggest Pharmaceutical market in the world, the fact that they are interested in VAL’s products is itself significant.

As the expectations from the Company were Commitment Letters by end of January then any delay in news would trigger investor nervousness. With such a high cash burn , and the prospect of cash running out in the second quarter leaving little room for manoeuvre. However there are no signs of a let down in spending at a critical time of construction, so my conclusion is that the BOD’s must have plenty of confidence that ST2 financing will be forthcoming before the cash runs out.

The article in the Times today does not make good reading but it is not surprising, doubts and uncertainty will damage the sp unless Chris Fraser can pull some Rabbits out of his hat. It’s looks like we may see more pressure on the sp today as investors loose patience and jump ship.

It’s still a huge gamble but one worth sticking with as the alternative is realising huge losses for not much at all, as the saying goes nothing sold nothing lost.

It seems satisfying lenders to get to the stage of producing Commitment Letters seems to be more of a challenge than first thought but still expected this month, the Government IPA is still proving to be a complicated affair but still on target to be agreed by the end of the first quarter. We may suffer a bit of short term damage to the sp but I am happy with the progress so far , I am impressed by the progress of the Construction on all three sites, and have confident the finance will be arranged within the timescale predictions.

I seem to recall that we would have news on 401 this quarter, so more patience required for another couple of months .

I agree shep, it could be a volatile week on the stock market this week with driven by Political Developments as Politicians continue to make a pigs ear of Brexit.

Failure to Update Shareholders this week may temporarily have an adverse effect on the share price and be the last opportunity to top up before we have a sustainable rise in the sp having secured St2 funding by the end of this quarter.

Quarterly Update should include SG2 update, Construction progress & Torps. We should definitely expect some good news next week.

Today is possibly the last chance to jump in at these levels should we have a positive update tomorrow, SXX seem to release good news on Fridays to hit the weekend financial press there by attaracting interest from lots of small investors and a positive sp reaction the following week. I expect we could have a few positive RNS’s over the next three months , increases to the Capital Value of SXX will reassure investors and lenders alike.
