Just to be clear the greens polled 3rd on the IOW at the last election .. With just 17.3%
The Lib Dem’s polled 3.7% losing their deposit

The battle on the IOW was won by CON 51.3%, LAB second with 23%

I think it highly likely the IOW will vote Con with an increased majority.

When this project was started Cameron hadn’t even offered a referendum, no one had hear of Brexit, most of us hadn’t hear of Theresa May and Boris was a Baffin on have I got news for you.

I think brexit has every thing to do with the delay in getting stage 2 finance. The government can’t even implement changes to probate they announced last November! They still haven’t put it into a finance bill. It was supposed to have been active in April.

I am hopeful things will happen soon after brexit. I know I’m not heavily invested here, but I do want this project to succeed. I was invested to 40k and felt the SP was running ahead of the project. It is very sad that no one wants to be invested longer than 6 weeks, hedge funds and short term Investing ( gambling?) is not healthy.

I will be invested again some day.

The point being Surrey cannot back track on the scoping document or the planning conditions will be passed very quickly by a planning appeal . If Surrey ignore the work done in the scoping agreement , they might get zero planning conditions. That’s the whole point of scoping documents.

Meanwhile we are working within the earlier planning consent of 20 movements...

Dear iBug, you say that a transport has not been submitted? How do you know that? Are you a SCC planning officer? Lol.

The highway plans have been pre approved as part of the screening process. The SCC highways officer tried to move the goal posts and was politely shot down.

It is true HH3-6 can’t be drilled until the conditions are signed. But these things usually take 4-6 weeks.

However., UKOG is producing from HH1&2. Is there a limit on the EWT & HH2 highway movements?
Does the HH3-6 planning override those limits on movements? It would need a planning expert.

However... the earlier consent is for
“ 14 For the programme of works for each phase, the development is divided into four phases and the maximum HGV movements across any of the 4 phases would be no more than a maximum of 20 HGV movements per day. The 4 phases involve: Phase 1 for appraisal of the HH-1 well and last up to approximately 210 days; Phase 2 for drilling and testing of

a sidetrack well from the HH-1 well and last up to approximately 100 days; Phase 3 for the drilling and testing of the second HH-2 deviated well and last for up to approximately 110 days; and Phase 4 for site abandonment, clearance and restoration and require up to 46 days.”

Just as a point of fact. It’s not just aviation fuel. The pipeline goes on a cycle of fuels. Aviation fuel , petrol diesel, heating fuels.. etc.

If they replace the Gatwick pipeline... there is a golden overt unity to provide a downstream pipeline from the Weald. Broadford bridge has rail options.
