They send tankers out 6 days a week. I believe there were 3 on at least one day last week. The “eyes” have had a slight clash on the annual leave rota this week.

I would suggest is more like 12+. Tankers.
All that is a bit irrelevant as we are restricted by gas production until the gas to wire and or gas compression plant is constructed. Then we can open the chokes and see what the Kimmeridge can really do.

I can’t wait to see what the Portland can do as well. Above and below the bubble point!

This week there are not the eyes available to see all tanker movements...
I am confident on 2 per day. I believe there may be more but without camping on the doorstep all the transport hours we won’t know ....

In a few weeks time we will not know which tankers are Portland or kimmeridge

Of course the casing takes time. However the photo of casing on the racks shows blue skies which were present on Wednesday and not on Thursday. progress is good.
It is important to get a perfect well and a perfect production sidetrack and as much data along the way to maximise production from the Portland and the Kimmeridge.

SS will not take short cuts.

The existing perforated section is 103feet. So that’s 31x ( I’m not sure if it will all be perforated..

The casing is going in to 2000 feet, the casings get smaller the deeper you go.
So a larger casing is put in position to your target zone, then down a size to the next target zone

The perforated section is 103 feet, the sidetrack is 1000feet...

So that’s 2000m drilled down to the Portland ..
The casing will now be installed , ( however long that takes ? )
Then they core drill the Portland.
After that there is another 1300 feet to drill to TD. I’m sure they will take some samples and They will wire log it.
Then the side track will be drilled 1000 m
Meanwhile confirmation of the approved planning consent arrived in the post :-)
The side track is 10x the current perforated section!

HH1z will follow shortly... possibly the drill won’t leave site. There is only so much room on the well pad. 3 month left this year.. 2 months on HH2/2z. The need to get Portland flowing , upgrade the tanker filling plant.
It’s going to be a busy site.

they can enter the site without crossing the white line. It needs security to remove all the posts. The gate could be made bigger to use all of the bell mouth. They are keeping it tight at the moment for security. There is an inner gate designed into HH 3-6 planning.

Re the 16 tankers per day. That’s a lot of income. However If the company felt there was need to increase, a planning application would need to prove the highway network could cope.
Maybe that could increase to 24? Or require modifications to the highway network. The obvious point might be fitting traffic lights at the Black Horse the next two roundabouts cope. The one after that is awful, but it’s not 16/24 UKOG tankers that are the issue. It’s thousands of Gatwick taxis!

The contribution to such road schemes could be £500k to £1m but would move production from £50m to £100m.

The kimmeridge exploration is also supported by the Portland .

The HH2 well will go down to the Kimmeridge and further data on the fractures will be gathered.
Then the Portland sidetrack will be drilled 1000m horizontally into a known sandstone resovoir that has produced steadily or 30 years across the south coast.... Brockham, Storrington, Stockbridge... to name a few...

The only time I would consider sipp has an advantage over an ISA is if you are paying 40% tax. Assuming you don’t want it as a single lump sum?
Then you can draw it down on retirement 25% tax free, and most of it would be at 20% tax if you use it as an income in retirement

If you want a single lump sum to buy that £600k house? I would invest as much as you can in Isa’s each year.

If you make a large gain on company XYZ , you pay no capital gains tax on sums transferred between spouses. So if you transfer some shares to your spouse, then sell them using both CGT allowances, and income tax allowances and minimize your tax bill.
Then top up your ISA’s each year until you have no investments paying tax.

This should be a direction for your own research
