Yes there is room to park 6 tankers when the site is not drilling. There will also be room up by the gas tanks for 2-3 tankers. The track has parking for 4 as long as the parking area has been designed to that weight rather than private cars.

I’m sure they can turn down the choke on bank Holliday’s :-)

I’m happy to go with 2000 +1600. I can’t be exactly sure what is on site. Which have moved and which are new. I know it’s a lot :-)

I’m not sure how much drilling fluids you need or use if you are drilling through oil rich sandstone. Surly the drill bit would be well lubricated by the oil? You would need to clear out the debris...

What Fjones and the eyes hveseen is enough storage around double the tweeted 2000+ barrels, enough to fill around 18 tankers..
Clearly there are safety margins and settlement tanks and a fire tank.

SS is still setting the site up for testing more than 2 or 3 per day.
He also needs storage to cover the 44 hours from sat lunch time to Monday morning.

I don’t know exactly how many tanks or how much it will flow. He has said that ewe are on the most porous section of Portland for most of the 2500 feet, that pressures are standing up better than expected and the cpr will be an increase.

I am sure the Portland will flow, I’m sure it will exceed 6 tankers per day.
I am sure the Portland CPR will produce a recoverable reserves figure that will revalue the company.

The kimmeridge , I know it flows vertically , HH3 will prove whether it can flow horizontally . It’s a weaker rock structure and SS needs to prove the completion method. Then a CPR. Failing that revert to vertical drills. One tanker per day per drill is still not to be scoffed at.

So a Believer in Kimmeridge oil , but work still required on the big CPR.

Yes, the site is not easy to photograph... if you have a DSLR camera , switch the lens to manual focus and focus through the fence.
If you have a bridge or compact, focus on a tree at a similar distance , half push the shutter button and swing back to the shot you want. .

Generally try not to photograph faces and private cars. The crew have had grief in town with their families.

The landscape on flaring gas has changed. Producers are now expected to utilise it even if it’s not particularity profitable. In the past sites such as Wytch farm flared it all off. It might make good money as domestic electric or green feed in tariffs bit it needs investment .

Penguins, flaring gas is the acceptable standard for testing and evaluation.
Production requires the gas to be utilised. Either compressed and tankered out or gas to wire.

UKOG has made provision for both. There should be no limit to production because of the capacity of the gas to wire.

It’s all in the planning cross sections on HH3-6..

1. I don’t think the permissions are quite ready for HH3
2. If HH2 flows like I think it might initially , you wouldn’t be able to earn any more money by drilling HH3 right now.
I would save the expenditure till it’s needed.

3. The items leaving today would be needed for the next drill.

Sorry but the reports of third attempt were pure speculation. It’s a long run.
The tools that clean out the 2500 feet may have been in and out three times to collect the debris from the magnetic catchment system and replace the scraping tools.

No, the companies are completely different. Alba have too many projects, not enough cash.

Angus have too few projects all gone pear shaped. Now the mcap has sunk it will be very hard to raise money.

UKOG have a steady stream of projects, some cash coming in but still are having to use borrowed money to bring HH2 online. Once that cash starts flowing the company can flourish.

The protests before the injunction included;

I am at site today. We appear to be on a pressure buildup ready to flow test. The rig is completely stationary. Moorehouse removed some mud tanks.

The consultation period being closed does not prevent the companies getting a report and submitting a solution that may require a new 3 week consultation period to start.
It is a significant delay to this application and aquifers we the downfall of markwells wood planning application.

They could withdraw the application , rectify the issue and submit a new one?

You would not go to committee on that response and get a refusal, you would pull the application.

I think HH1z has had a rethink... leave HH1 producing
Get all the permissions sorted and drill HH3 horizontal into the Kim ...after getting detailed core samples
However... if, and I do mean if..
if we are filling 16 tankers a day from HH 1&2 why would you ecpxpend the money at this time on HH3? It would be good business sense to wait until permission to expand the numbers of lorries or hh1&2 has depleted a little.

Spend the money on other projects like dunsfold, iow, A24
