I think you misread what I was saying, the "weeks/months" referred to the time after the referendum, and have no recovered well and had the benefit of mopping up some additional stock while prices are low.
In the short terms companies will profiteer and blame it on Brexit, as the petrol companies are definitely doing at the moment, but once the benefits of being able to trade world wide without having to impose Brussel's tariffs on anyone outside the EU, in my view you will see we are better off, there is nothing that we can buy from the EU that we cannot buy cheaper elsewhere, the EU is a protectionist state in my view, meaning it protects itself not its member states, mainly by fear and I am glad we are getting out. My EU overseas clients are watching with interest, believe me, with a view to getting out themselves
