kk, you are missing the point , I understand that investments can go up as well as down and I wrote my cash off long ago and luckily I can afford to lose what I have . A lot of the long term holders could not and got badly burned by the miss information and downright lies we were fed under COMS management.The current management are aware that this company (whatever they want to call it) is heavily tarred with the same brush and as part of their recovery plan (if they had any intention of increasing shareholder value) they should have ensured no BS is given and transparency is the watchword. If MB had a plan to "steady the ship then leave" he should have stated that intention at the start, not hand in his notice at the point when 80% plus of the company (that he had been telling us was strategically poised to conquer the world) was being sold off.

I am still hopeful that they have "a plan" , it would be polite of them to keep us informed and make sure that their PR company does the job it is paid for. Contempt is what I was talking about , which is how they treat us in my view

Sadly no !! I would like to ask these people why they treat their shareholders with such contempt, they must be aware that A **** load of people lost a **** load of money to this outfit under previous management and communication should have been one of the key issues going forward, yet they cannot be bothered.

All I can see at the moment is that MB has abandoned ship and the vast majority of the company has been sold off, they are sitting on a whole pile of cash that essentially belongs to the shareholders and not a word from them about what they plan to do with it other than pay themselves exorbitant salaries.I fully understand the rules on price sensitive information and insider dealing but this is the age of social media and they have a public relations company (that never replies to anyone) in tow, we do not want to go back the days of DB "bigging everything up", but their efforts (if you can describe it as that) are p1ss poor.

So if you are going Pete, ask the question, maybe we will get an announcement after the AGM, but not holding my breath. Anyone else going ditto, its a shame I have a real company to run over 200 miles away or I would ask the question myself

ToastaL - Why is it utter bull ? They have to change the name because of the disposal , now the disposal could turn out to be utter bull, but we will have to wait and see for that

Chancer , I have not put each share deal price against each trade (that would be too anal) but would guess it to be between 62 & 63 62 would mean that they have used about £451 million so far

I believe that Mark was not happy to sell off over 80 % of the business and basically start again from scratch although cash rich, it also means that the share options (bonus) he was given at somewhere around 5 p (at the time) £5 now are not going to materialise any time soon, don't know about his sons business but that may have an effect on his decision, whatever the reason I believe we have lost a first rate CEO and Frank B is now CEO and i do not have the same confidence in him , there should be another RNS later today after the 10 am meeting to vote on the sell off

Not looking to pick an argument over brexit, particularly on a BB , but what i quoted was on the original battle bus slogan and when the campaign posters came out i remember Nigel Farage being interviewed about how some of the leave campaign had expanded that to giving the whole amount to the NHS and he categorically denied that was the intention and in his own inimitable way distancing himself from the issue. He asked the question why would the NHS need �18.2 billion. The remainers as I said had the fear campaign started by Osborne and perpetuated by Carney all of which has turned out to be garbage despite Carney trying to whip things up to suit his needs despite his role supposedly being apolitical . I run a company that deals worldwide and have no fear of what brexit brings, it has no impact at all so far and my Italian suppliers and clients are waiting with baited breath to see what happens because they want out of this corrupt club as soon as, "Everyone has an opinion" as they say

With respect �350 million a week for the NHS was never promised , its an urban myth circulated by remainers, the famous red bus said "We send �350 million a week to the EU , lets fund our NHS instead" it does not say lets give �350 million a week to the NHS.(Why does it need another �18.2 billion) Incidentally the NHS could easily fund itself if it were not the most wasteful organisation on the planet , it swallows huge amounts of cash and throws it away on overpaying for goods and services that private industry would never stand, absenteeism is rife as there is no effective control over it, millions of pounds a week is given to scroungers because of ineffective HR departments. Massive layers of overpaid management with little or no real idea of what they are doing, pensions arrangements that would make your eyes water for those same people . They hide behind the sterling work provided by our Nurses and Doctors and keep their noses firmly in the trough milking the service with impunity.
