That's why I asked the question as we are protected by the 12 month high 2.49p

I did say "Is it true that any buyer would have to pay the minimum of the year high ie around 2.49p"

You are now saying "we are protected by the 12 month high."

Sorry forgot to add, surely it can not be under 2p ?????

Now that's on the table the question is what is the lowest price that we could expect for a take over, as I said earlier personally I would say in the region of 2.5 / 3p ?????

My post was not meant in any way to be misleading its the way you interpreted it. I could have put in in a different way and sorry if you took it the wrong way, I did rush the post as I was going out. My original post was directed at another member and others jumped on the band wagon, maybe I should not have mentioned the amount of shares held, but others do the same so I did not think it would cause so much concern, ie SB just mentioned purchasing 10 million so my holdings are very small in comparison to his, I wonder if he will be accused of telling porkies, no doubt someone will jump on his case.
Anyway enough said about it as I am sure others too are tired of this tread. Agree lets get back to GGP :-)

Tymers, just for you,

I said for tax reasons simply due to the fact I did not want to go into tax explanations as we were talking about ISA's and GGP. I have now told all in my post Today 10:50 so I take it you are happy now and I do not tell porkies, I don't need to.

And another thing is that I fully understand the TAX system including Capital Gain tax and my accountant is up to date with mine thank you very much.

That is the best thing you could have done and well done too. With all your various investments in your ISA means that you pay NO tax at all or Capital Gains tax. Of course you do pay some stamp duty and small charge / commission when you purchase " non AIM shares ".
You are doing the right thing so keep on going that way, and you can invest £20K every year, well done.
