Speedy hi,

I see where you are coming from but we did discuss that same point and I was told that HMRC just can't just change the Tax law willy nilly they must first get the change through the correct channels and that could take months and ample time to withdraw your funds. This would not happen overnight and that I was assured.
Lets just hope that just does not happen as it would affect millions of savers / investors.

Yes totally agree and if they tried to change to Tax rules you could say goodby to the whole of the ISA scheme. You could imagine what would happen to the market with many or most of ISA holders pulling their cash out of their accounts just before they changed the rule. It would have a serious effect to the whole stock Market for sure. :-))))

After reading a few post's yesterday where someone mentioned the possibility of a wealth tax and tax on share ISA's I have spoken to my accountant and he said there are NO such plans for this Tax year or next ( So far ). ISA accounts will remain TAX free in respects to any CGT / and any profits made on selling your shares are free of TAX. The current rules are firm and there are no plans to change them in the near future. He has also said that whatever investment you make under these terms where it states 100% FREE from TAX they can not just change the rules for your current investment. This may change in the future for NEW investment and that investment must have the new rules in force before you make any investment.
So as far as current investment your Share / ISA investment is 100% tax Free.

I have said before that I would be happy at a 25% sell at 20p then another at 25p. I would then wait till the end with the reaining 50%. Well that is the plan.

No worries as I forgot to mention the words "Free ride" all the way !!!

I welcome any serious views from other investors with the following thinking :-

I am 100% now with GGP and no others having sold all and bought more here. My thinking is this and the reason I am totally with one company now and that's here.

Over the months I have increased my holdings here up to this point in time and the way I see it is that Havieron alone will be mined. Let's forget about all the others assets for the moment. As I said Havieron now at 12p approx will go ahead IMO and with hopefully great news next week we could run up to around 15/20p. Now if the news is not so great and we fall back to 10/12p many would still make a lot of profit even at the reduced price. So if the worse happened we would still have a SP of around the SP as it is now, maybe a bit less but still a very nice profit for many investors that got in around 2/3p. So as far as I can see its still a no brainer to hold and wait for whatever news comes in, as Havieron will go ahead with the grades we already have !!!!!!! not taking into account maybe more goodies next week, NCM will mine Hav IMO, they need whatever they can find to feed Telfer.
Now if we strike at Scally or any other asset its a bonus and will obviously attract a higher SP. If all others projects fall away and nothing goes ahead we still have Havieron.
The question is has anyone any doubt that Havieron WILL be mined, if not there is no risk whatsoever. That is why I am totally 100% in GGP.

Many say I may be silly to have all eggs in one basket but I just can not see this going pair shape!!!!! IMHO of course.

Yes you could be right too ! you would have thought that they would have done loads of research about possible profits prior to getting themselves involved, very strange for a company of the size and experience it has, what a waste of time that was!

Sorry for posting again but got no reply so far !!!

Forgive me for asking but why would Numis Securities Limited ("Numis") close its natural resources division. As a result, Numis will cease to act as joint broker to the Company with immediate effect. I does not make sense as they have only just taken on the roll ???????
Seems a bit strange to me.
