there is no shortfall... ganfeng by virtue of their 22.5% direct... and 29.99% indirect ownership of the project... will be funding 45% of the overall project costs... leaving bcn to raise 55% of the costs from others... rk $150m... hanwa $25m... sgrf $65m... plus the $25m raised from ganfeng for this deal... $265m total... /$420m... is 63%... if anything there’s a surplus...

and they haven’t even disclosed which subsidiary company it is that ganfeng are farming into yet... so no-one knows how much lithium... if any... is included in the deal...

lol... it’s 22.5% of the project... and 30% of the parent... for a total of 45% interest in the project... the other 27.5% of the project is at the then bcn sp... which could remove the need for an equity placing... or fund the stage-2 earlier than is planned in the fs...

i make it... $15.5k/t lce... lico @$12k/t that’s a good 30% premium for lif...

@$22k/t lif... have you worked that back to $/t lce... and the premium being paid for lif...

i heard a similar rumour that it was capped somehow at that... was never convinced myself... as the pricing formula was never disclosed... but taking your word for it... $6k/t lce compared to what for this deal...

the good news is... £100m @40p is only 250m shares to issue for the equity funding... half as many as it looked like a few weeks ago... with the cash lined up already... bring on 50p... or half it again at the 80p it was when the cash was committed...
it’s a bit of a self fuelling fire that one... where will it stop...

only 2 weeks to wait to find out... and by the time the deal closes... it could be half the price... hopefully they’ll return similar results from their capex review...

there’s a 303k dma @39p in the auction to take out first... that’s the next resistance... good opportunity there for buyers monday morning...
