i’m a bit more open minded on the value engineering exercise... e.g. if they could double the size for a 10% increase in capex... that’s a good ve option to pursue...

lif offtake announcement... before or after?...

they could conceivably drop it to 50% of 17.5ktpa... and then double the offtake period again... keeping the same overall amount @175,000t lce... taking 8.75ktpa for the 20years lom... which does mean that 100% of the planned lithium production from the sonora lithium project is sold to ganfeng / hanwa... any economies of scale being... a brucie bonus... for further offtakes or the china spot market...

worth noting that hanwa’s offtake is for 10years at 17.5ktpa... ;)
huge incentive there for ganfeng to come back with a significant saving on capex when they look into the economies of scale opportunities available... even if they did some kind of deal with their production plant supply chain partners... like... buy one get one free...

which is why ganfeng’s offtake is 50% of stage 1 production... hanwa taking the other 50%... and 75% stage 2 production... hanwa taking the other 25%...

i’d rather think that, both ganfeng and the company agreed that, as it was, the business, without ganfeng, was worth 25p per share...
as it stands now... they may just be about to deliver your £5/share valuation...

and with the recent ratification of the usmca trade deal between the us and mexico... probably see sonora as a suitable supply route into north america...
