Why are you picking up on only the last sentence or two of the speculation rns, which is the rider, which is a point they have to make obviously, but what about the rest of it which provides the bulk of the narrative? Yet another one who has suddenly turned negative to try and scare and get the buy in price wanted. Absolutely amazing. Yes, it could go wrong, it is not without high risk, but the indications are that the route you mention would be the very last option if everything else was exhausted and not viable. JD and his wife frequent the races, and I know which horse I'm betting on to cross the winning line. Reputations hang in the balance here.

The £1.11 was executed on 16 February 2023, the 76p on 4 May 2023.

Actually Duggs he can, but he would have to persuade the takeover panel to give him an extension which might take him to May when his next buy in price occurred which was lower which was 79p as opposed to the February £1.11. That February date is nearly upon us, as it was Feb 16th 2023. It very much depends what prey if any are circling with an interest to also make an offer but I suspect they will wait for him to offer first!

FWIW I would say think twice before letting go of any shares, the free float must be getting tight now, Wirral Council have bought in to add to their pension fund, I dare say a few more instis/funders will follow suit. BlackRock is sitting tight with its investment, and tha's a great sign to me of what might well happen, as BlackRock normally short on a lot of lse listed shares, but they've bought and are clearly long here. Your decisions of course, dyor, but that Form 8 was a turning point in my view and I'm holding tight.

The Form 8 (OPD) being the 4th rns yesterday is what it states it is in it's heading, and there is no escaping that fact, and that is;

"PUBLIC OPENING POSITION DISCLOSURE BY A PARTY TO AN OFFER

Rules 8.1 and 8.2 of the Takeover Code (the “Code”)"

It is a housekeeping measure to notify uptodate holdings of those on the inside so there is complete transparency beforean offer is likely to be made.

Watch the mad scramble today, because those claiming negativity now, know exactly what that form is.

I also concur with ££, that is what I had been thinking. I think I did some crude workings out based on that figure yesterday in a post from recollection. JD could easily underwrite it for security. imo.

The 4th rns states Form 8 (OPD).

Although it doesn't express rule 8.3, as it says rule 8.1 and 8.2, essentially, isn't this the same thing, but without the offer having been advanced as yet, in that they are putting their house in order pronto, and declaring these interests?

Am I missing something? is this not indicative of them disclosing positions prior to an offer being tabled ? (rns 4)
