Hi SRBS, hope all is good with you? AJ Bell's are fcsa covered, so I assume it means your investments are safe up to 85k guaranteed, not sure that all brokers have that cover though? I'm doing a half and half, half to stay with HL and half with AJ Bell's, as I don't want Friday and yesterday's scenario occurring too often with HL, the service seems to have got worse with them of late.

Just bought a few more by the way, no problem in buying at all.

Hi SRBS, I've opened an ISA stocks and shares with AJ Bell as already have an account with them as well, and I see they charge £5 per trade, or £3 per trade if over 10 trades in a month! Will give it a try and see how I get on.

I see they dropped us again an hour or so before close, the barstewards!

NT to buy on HL

Hi dcarn, did you manage to transfer ISA to ISA as I thought you now had to sell first with HL and then buy back with your new provider? I've just had my second email back from them, they accept no responsibility for these glitches at all, and dont' seem that bothered if I leave them, and that's after 26 years or so having been with them. They have masses of money out of me, that they've benefitted from, and they don't give a toss!

I don't want to part with any of these shares, so what I currently have, which isn't a lot compared to many of you, as I only have 30 mill, I'm hanging on to for grim death, because as paulb has said, I can see this doing a 10x bagger soon, and more hopefully thereafter :) I certainly think it should be a lot higher, even now, and as Colorado is rich with oil and helium, this can only go one way :)

Hi SRBS I've got an ii account but don't use it, so I've just told HL I'm going to start drawing money out of my stocks and shares ISA and buy in to that when the new tax year starts. I've had it with HL. They claim they know nothing about it, yet it's just resolved itself at the same time as it did last Thursday or Friday when there was a glitch all morning. HL have become so unreliable, what with shenanigans of locking investors out from buying first thing in popular shares of late, and often stating the selling price is higher than the buy price and so you can't do anything, it's become beyond frustrating. So I'll join you with ii SRBS, and thank you :)

Speaking of HL, still not right on my PC. Islandgirl, I meant AJ Bell not Fidelity. I might switch some of my ISA to AJ Bell for the new tax year.

They are seriously costing people money. Had enough of their games over the years.

There's just nothing now, nothing is moving, impossible. I'm going to move come the new tax year, probably go to Fidelity, but have no experience of them. Anyone know if you can move your stocks and shares ISA in its entirety without an issue and without having to sell first?

HL don't allow it, I checked with them long ago, but they are becoming unreliable with system malfunctionings these days. I'm not sure about others, I don't think Fidelity do it, and I don't think ii do, but check, but I know HL don't.

I messaged them, but it's still not right, you see at the bottom where it says about live prices, it's darting about, so something isn't right with the system.
