BT happens to be the worst performing stock in the index and one that’s in a death spiral. Your Kondratiev-inspired advice also présupposés that no one owns BT yet and now is the time to get in.

The problem with these beaten down stocks is that they accrue mass casualties on the way down. The £35 billion decline in market capital value is shouldered by investors. not investors waiting to buy in - but investors!

I think BT will eventually turn the corner but there’re no cures for the psychological disorder that compels you to post such utter trash.

Article in the Telegraph dated August 2 states the Dow as the most overvalued ever on several metrics.

Unlike uk shares American shares haven’t been beaten down. The big worry here is when the Dow bubble bursts it will bring uk shares down to historical lows; which is okay if you’re buying but not if you’re fully invested.

And that’s just the Dow. The Nasdaq isn’t a stock market anymore it’s a Ponzi scheme and currently more overvalued than the Dow was in 1929.

Worrying. It’s just a pity global markets always have to follow American DumDums down when their bubbles burst. I see the situation as being on a knife-edge right now.

I believe BT will test 95 tomorrow, and given current market sentiment will fall to 90 as the week progresses. 89 will be where it finds its first support level.

Consequently if it dips and riseS during the week I think it will meet resistance at £1

There’s always an element of risk in investing in any share, its only the extent that varies.

BT’s debt mountain is a concern - mainly because as the shareprice sinks the debt ratio increases exponentially. Definitely one of the factors to consider before investing.

According to that Motely Fool article BT’s debt is now £18.2 billion.

That’s almost twice its market value.
The danger is - if the shareprice drops much more it could provoke a crisis - BT’s creditors could start panicking and excerpting pressure on the company to repay loans.

To put that into some sort of perspective Apple shares rose £138 billion pounds in a single day on Friday.

So are we to believe the market is always right and values shares fairly? As many slavishly parrot.

Absolutely not! We live in the age where artificial intelligence determines trades and valuations. Artificial intelligence programmed mostly by American DumDums.

I see this as a long term problem for global markets. How can shares be valued fairly when machines are valuing them. Machines programmed to create dangerous bubbles and massive iniquities in valuations. Either some sort of technology needs to be introduced to stop it or the market will be reduced to a few giant corporations with obscenely high valuations.

Is Apple really worth £138 billion more today than it was yesterday on the strength of a few more iPad sales? IMO Apple is a Ponzi scheme not a share, trading at double its real value.

And on the flip side we have companies like BT whose shareprice is beaten down to pennies by the same dark Dumdum forces, because it missed market estimates by a fraction.

It’s what I coined ‘the endgame of capitalism’ - when all the world’s wealth is sucked up by a handful of extremely ugly American corporations.

We need saving from these unconscionable monsters, or markets with descend into chaos.
