Tones77777 is absolutely right in my view and his message is well worth reading in full. In fact, it ought to be a header for all these pharma stocks.

Like others, you could say I got it wrong by buying in and then holding, even buying more as we've gone along. Many of us are here for the results of the SNG001 trial and as far as I can see, we know no more nor less about that than we did a month ago. If it was good value then, it must be even better now.

That's actually a highly perceptive summary of the situation Limaliam, where have you been all this time. I keep thinking we don't know any more or less than we did a month ago in terms of this share, it may just be that in the populace's mind, the whole dreadful thing is fading away.

To be fair, other Covid-related shares have taken a battering of late.

Nolupus I have to wonder what 'spike down' means here: in the past two weeks, I think the SP has dropped on every single day except one.

Ghia you're also right about the information we have. But that's the good thing about these BBs -sometimes one of us really does pick up on a snippet of real value. For me, I doubt any of us can make anything beyond an informed guess about SNG001; some of what I see in the news about other 'Covid' shares unsettles me in the context of this one (as in AZN seeking to link with Gilead) but ultimately I'm going to hold here, maybe because it's a small proportion of my fund.

Jaime I take your point. The research that people do on BBs is often worth considering but it's hard work filtering the useful from the less useful.

I too feel sorry for those who put too great a proportion of their money into any single share; they might get very rich, but with that kind of mentality, they stand to be serial losers. That's if they did put anything in to begin with. Each to his or her own eh?

Jaime does have a point though, even if some don't agree. For those of us who got in here at 50-70p, the SP has a long climb before break-even. I've been watching it drop day after day for a month or so, thinking I should get out and then get back in later, but experience suggests I can't get the timing right so may as well stick with it.

But he does have a point and I like to read the contrarian stuff too, provided it's not just silliness.
