Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Perhaps Hurricane asked for Nigwit to be removed?
'we're in incompetence pants,'
Incontinence pants.
Perhaps we'll be both!
Albi1, ' If some made predictions of a SP of £3 by now, likely that was when it looked like it might be possible to have FOIL by November/December 2018. Clearly it will be by H1 and no earlier. If all goes well and the price of oil remains stable at least around $70, this is a very promising investment indeed.'
That sounds a very good reason to stay on as this is one of the stronger AIM companies around and well supported by several knowledgeable posters on here with well balanced views.
So there is a bit of a delay, don't most projects get delayed. ( several of mine did), so many elements to consider in a multidiscilpline project. Every discipline and element has it's own plan and joining them all together in a major plan is the big headache we would all try to avoid. A catastrophe at any unique supplier, for whatever reason, needs adjustments of facilities, personnel, cash flows etc., etc., etc.. So plan to expect a delay somewhere, sometime; build in a contingency based on experience.
If we were perfect at everything wouldn't that be wonderful, we could push a button and off it would go, but unfortunately, or fortunately, people have to drive it.
So, be ever vigilant.
I read in that report that electric cars are polluting more grams per kilometer than diesel cars.
Obviously written/published from american sources. When will they realise that if you hang thousands of meters onto a car it weighs far more and therefore will pollute more (tongue in cheek!)
As we should be talking in metres/kilometres then the International System of Units must be recognised, the correct spelling is 'metre'. Still americans never could spell. The only word they do have correct is the original 'Aluminum' before the International adoption of 'aluminium'.
I have over many years carried out heavy design projects for american companies and they have all been measured in feet and inches, such is their understanding of the metre, their technical isolation from the rest of the world, and the desire to place continuous production at the head of everything they do ( 'We want you improve the performance of this machine but you can't change anything' syndrome). Their locomotive diesel engines were originally designed to power small military craft before WW2 and the basic structures continue to be uprated and uprated to the detriment of size, weight and fuel consumption. Any newly designed prototypes are killed off when they are offered up for production showing the disconnect between the manufacturer and the customer. Isolationism raises its head in many spheres. Science and space projects use the 'meter'.
Rant over and Ta Ta.
DW and PB complimented each other and got on very well, both are impressive in their own fields.
I'm sure, without asking, that DW still has PB's $1B charity project in his mind, which is why I'm long term here, it's that kind of project.
A lot of punters and naysayers still don't realise Rome wasn't built in a day, they want it all and want it now, very typical of the youth of today.
'OK totally now agree though that the price is being heavily manipulated, watched very closely today as another 50k share buy just went through, no movement, then a paltry 6k odd of shares through as sells and they managed to drop the bid by 4 pence thats a large drop. Definately starting to smell a bit'
This is AIM at its best. Obviously not controlled by algorithms but by the human brain (what brain?) and hand as well.
Could this be why total investment is going down as everyone starts to move to other investment systems, vintage and classic cars, art, etc., etc. ?
'I would suggest that population growth is a greater threat to humanity than the planet heating up a few degrees.'
Too many individual agendas kicking in to hide the basic truth. Lets reduce petrol car use to reduce CO2 etc..result NOX goes up. Oh no, lets reduce diesel car use to reduce NOX etc.. Oh yes CO2 goes up, tinkering like this is not the answer.
Lets crush the car of the driver who breaks the laws. Result -another car needed to replace it with all the added pollution of its manufacture equal to the pollutants caused by burning its lifetime fuel. What a total waste and criminal attitude by the police. Double the life of the car reduces total car use pollutants by one third - work it out.
Halve the population what do you get - half the man made pollutants, earth still produces many natural pollutants.
Shall I rant on, no, it's too distasteful.
'Electric power has become very popular in model airplanes but only because there is no requirement for long duration flight.'
Model aircraft don't carry passengers, luggage. seating infrastructure, safety requirements, .fuel for a long distance flight so are a completely different concepts
However the recent real aircraft are certainly impressive, but still a very long way to go
'Who spuds a well at 18:48??'
Looks like Hurricane did.

Had a Mobylette for a while. Streamlined the ports and you could hit 35mph
'And if BoD is able to give a specific reason for stretched timescale to FO Contract, this can soothe our nerves'
.I'm very happy with DW's explanations so I don't fell that my nerves need soothing because I've always been happy to be here.
At 8.43 this morning Siem Opal was recorded as travelling at 6.60 knots.
Interestingly the vessel timeline shows it took 2 hours to reach 5 knots due to the build up of engine power and the inertia of the rig, the plot of the speed build-up showing the considerably increased resistance as optimum speed is reached. Two tugs would show a small incease of speed but it's not in a hurry so why waste all the additional fuel, probably about 4 tonnes an hour, for little gain in time.
