I think the rig costs are an interesting point , but I’m thinking maybe a rig owner is looking at this & thinking this will be a very long term contract, so a special rate maybe available & if more rigs are required in time it will be there company that get first .

Seeing the possibilities with borders on the malky chat was interesting & the volumes were huge . Hopefully someone will see value in borders & jump in soon or one worry I have is borders going private at some point .

Not sure if this would happen , could be possible rkh contract a rig with bor , but bor get the first drill , so it brings on the south basin along at a faster rate ? If the rig drills all 11 wells in the north first we maybe waiting a while for the rig ? In my view long term would help both, as rkh has south basin assets as well ? Gla

Anyone have a clue on where our oil will go , as I believe different grades go to different regions for refining ,i think ours is heavy , so is that American refinery quality?

I agree ,once the rig is in the Falklands it could be years before it leaves, so drill sealion first , then down too Darwin ,back up for sealion 2 & after that, anywhere else that’s ready & I’m sure it should be somewhere & maybe financed by the island government… lot of possibilities & hopefully will give leverage against a good rig lease deal asap

I think you’re right here & I don’t think people grasp how big this could become in time . It’s not all about sealion , it’s also the other prospects that in time will unlock, giving rkh a good boost… hopefully fingers crossed Navitas keep pushing hard for 2024 news gla

I also think Borders will interest some companies, as it is a stable place & wont (I think) join Brics , so it will be interesting for shareholders when the events that unfold here happen .if it’s a loss so be it , but I’m in & staying, my decision!!

Covgav , I’m not sure I agree with you on your bor statement 25/30 years !!! I reckon 12/24 months some news will appear & then an assessment can be made . The Falklands will become a remote & reasonably safe area for development with great tax position given . Whatever happens, good luck
