Hi. Ive just bought into PAF, seeing it as undervalued and worthy of investing. Thought id drop by here so i can see what others are saying (though the opinions of others dont influence my actions, i like verified facts and figures)

You can't declare that you've successfully predicted something that hasn't happened yet... Unless you have time travelled.

That all depends on what 'in time' is. Flybe is carrying on with business as usual, making changes it sees as neccessary to boost profits, reduce costs and sustain itself; ultimately still trying to succeed independently. Therefore 'in time' could be a very long time (or if you are super optimistic, indefinetly, as they will not need to be taken over).

I don't think you can really put a date on it. Basically, until all interested parties have declared they are not going to buy Flybe, we won't be certain. That might not happen, and if it does it could take months. Likewise it could take months for a deal to be agreed. We simply don't know. I personally believe a sale will happen, which is why I'm holding, but I'm not going to claim that is guaranteed.

It was announced when Stobart originally could not agree terms with Flybe. We are yet to be told that any of the interested parties haslve dropped out of negotiations so i have to imagine they are all still interested.

That's what we need, good technical analysis. There's too much wild guessing and over-optimism here. Your input is greatly appreciated!

If every investor in the world went on message boards and made their decisions wholly based on what others say then maybe yes, but let’s be honest, a small percentage of those considering Flybe will be on here and even fewer still will not do their own research and come to their own conclusions so it’s not such an issue.

Same, some news would be nice, or a little increase, but theres been basically no real movement all day.
