'No trading in the stock - voting control interest over stock transferred to new manager'
I took this literally, that the holding has been transferred to another Investment Fund whose manager is happy to hold.
Just had the first 54.00 trade
plz put me down for 1.00p. can't believe nobody has had it.
Today 12:15-14:15 was cheap dealing time at Halifax so I rounded my number of shares purchased up. This was 42 shares, showing in red because the price I paid was under the mid. Therefore I am presuming the others are probably also purchases.
Watch the last 10 minutes of the programme. You won't be so dismissive of the potential of Graphene then.
Last night I watched a BBC4 programme 'Revolutions: ideas that changed the world. Episode 2 The Car.
It progressed through the history of the wheel, the axle, the car. At the end it talked about electric cars and how pencil lead, graphite will be the fuel leading this. No mention of Vanadium batteries.
Did anybody see the programme from the end of last month?
Anybody got any comments about Graphite/ Graphene?
Thanks Bertie I think I follow that :-)
I've taken my first tentative step into I3E today. I have a question for wonderer or anybody else who might be able to answer. Refering to wonderers list yesterday, please explain what you mean by risked at 190p and unrisked £13? Thanks.
colinH- this website can sometimes be a little slow in showing new RNS's
£322k sell gone through without delay. Looks like mm need shares. Is there a big order on the books?

I would second GoldD, investigate.co.uk is the place I go to. It seems to be always up to date.
Adam, you say 'They have had thousands off us all'. Have you bought your shares via a placing? If you have, then yes they have had your money. If like most people you bought your shares from the market, you are, as GM regards them, a secondhand share holder. GM holds these people in contempt, because as he sees it they want 'something for nothing'.
He expects people who subscribe to placings to sell up straight away. When I confronted him about this, that was more or less his reply. The fact that the placing price was never reached after I was involved in a VAL placing wasn't 'his concern'.
I'm pretty sure the balancing books theory is wrong. If it were correct then there would be as many of every other small number.
Some people think it is part of a code between market makers. 1, 100,200 etc
The 1 code is supposedly saying that an RNS has been logged.
I have tried to keep an eye on this over the years, and sometimes an RNS appears shortly afterwards. Mostly one doesn't though.
Some people think it is just a private investor doing a dummy trade and then pressing the buy button by mistake.
Anyone on here believe in the codes?
8.57am today there was a 1 trade. Maybe an RNS in the next 48 hours.
some pi's bought shares in placings therefore their money DID go to VAL. They also got shafted by the company.

One thing the average investor can do is go to their broker and put a sell limit on their shares. A price way beyond what they would expect in the short term eg. £50, £100.
If you have a price below which YOUR shares can't be sold, a shorter cannot SELL using your shares. This is particularly apt if you are a large holder eg Alfa, BBN, FatBanker etc.
Thanks Valju, your confidence in the company comes across and as I used to say many times, PATIENCE is needed
