Perhaps a tad impatience about Swag but also not to underestimate its importance. Whilst having II’s is positive, the mood music starts to move away from PI’s and as SD put it he has had discussions with some shareholders and wants to have discussions with more - unlikely to be the embedded nominees.
After all, this is still AIM, and news flow is not about period updates it is still company making and potentially company breaking.
With so many other interested parties news from the actual operation may not be too bad but that doesn’t mean the sp and mcap stays solid.
It’s about maximising value and as a PI with so few holdings it matters, II definition of maximising value, when managing lots of positions, is different imo. Add to that they will always get a jump, not insider dealing, just a little head start and you work out how big a company you actually are at this point in time.
A little impatience/frustration isn’t a bad thing imo.

After an initial couple of hours of speculative buying I believe we may, if we are lucky get a 2-3p lasting benefit to the shareprice.
————
@Tildo, i think on good results for Scally, the value on the sp, same number of shares, will be greater than 2-3p, the proven process, the willingness of NCM, the anticipation of a deal etc. These factors will provide a greater response. I do not expect doubling or tripling the sp, but Hav started the jigsaw and good Scally results would add a very significant piece, perhaps 20-50% of current sp - all imo of course
GLA LTHs - TFG
then the end game could be decades away and well after my time on this planet.
———-
@morningsun, i believe Floater means to say that Hav will produce for decades, so if GGP keep 30% or 25% for the lifetime of Hav, that may be their endgame.
Shorn wasn’t clear on Hav or Scally, but in any case, I think the point is mining longevity not time to commence mining.
Perhaps for GGP to keep its stake for decades and provide returns might just seem a tad greedy :-)))
GLA LTHs - TFG
TD - superb news well done. Like me you’ve held since before the EG days and kept on going for an exit price of your dreams. I can understand the reluctance or perhaps inability to add more, no offence intended, and how sitting on hands might have been difficult.
Wow, 22.5p to 35p in a month since you first posted hoping for 35p as soon as possible - doesn’t matter how it got there and where it goes next, although I hope Scally comes good of course, a great long term investment that got there....enjoy the sun
GLA LTHs -TFG
Thanks Paddy.
Pulling in experts from NCM/Telfer without upsetting anyone - that’s the JV in action right there and wouldn’t be possible for GGP without paying way over the odds and upsetting neighbours should they have attempted to go it alone at any stage. Excellent.
GLA LTHs - TFG
Falcon, superb. Hope this and others stay up there and more. Risk/reward at its finest if the world is set up this way.
Good luck.

No mate, I’m on IG. Always gives me a quote? It’s about 33.82 now
————
@Chippy - That explains it, many thanks. Not saying it’s you, but so much quote searching and potential trading action all day long with probably only a handful of actual executions. A good watch I suppose. GL when you really do wish to sell.
TFG
Get a quote to sell 10m @ 34.01
————-
@chippy - how do you do that - on line ? Don’t you have to have 10m in the first place to be dangling them dangerously close to being sold or are you in the market to sell that amount around this current price which could explain how big orders get easily filled ? Just wondering......
GLA LTHs - TFG
Good luck be ready 1st thing
————-
Why ? We are all long term holders.
Seems to me like you sold on Newmont/EG rather than hold on. If that were the case then unlucky.
There’s no particular definition of Long Term Holder. Even if folk have been able to take their initial investment out, still a stretch to call it loss free, technically yes but still gutting if selling too early.
Hope you have better luck elsewhere. I suspect your re-entry point could only be from bad news but then you would reconsider re-entering. Loop of infinite angst unless you bite the bullet and take a position.

Great post Dodge. No longer being the plucky explorer can be a double edge sword for PI’s who may also get up at 4am and work until 10pm with stresses.
To be seen if SD handles the interests of PI’s, verbally at least. There’s a lot that we’ll never know of course, here is hoping the PI long term holders do get to realise the fulfilment of what GH and CB progressed.
SD lives close to the area and NCM, let’s see how he plays it. Somebody mentioned what CB might now do - critical imo.
Hands on bum.
GLA LTH - TFG
@rockie thanks, at work so didn’t get to that part, my bad.
Hope 5mm is ok for the moment for SD and we keep to a solid plan and trajectory that he earns - GH earned every share/option/£/$.
GLA LTHs - TFG
How does SD get compensated for coming in now.
1) Scally has to be good to get a shed load of options;
2) Juri has to be good to get a shed load of options;
3) A t/o can be negotiated silently to get an amazing deal for the CEO;
4) other.....
Sure there may be a ‘golden hello’ but not 10’s of millions.
I hope CB is ok with what has/is transpiring.
SD is going to have to earn it somehow and it’s not immediately obvious to me.
GLA LTHs - TFG....I’ve mentioned before the ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory - this has to bed in.
....to begin to understand some of the reasons and the forward thinking of the BoD and GH. Both GH and CB have millions of shares and if predictions hit £ not pence then certainly the BoD and major investors constantly expect to review.
GH has performed spectacularly and deserves every penny of what he has. Well done.
Negotiations for Hav and Juri make it a relative sit back and see - not dismissing the effort for one moment but NCM can roll with those for at least 12-24m.
What does Scally need and why does GH not need to be there - that is the question. Not being there could of course be a major positive. This propels CB if Scally is good and he has his work cut out if not.
Holding and watching, similar to the last decade.

...how many white lies and outright lies are posted on these Boards daily. Not accusing anyone in particular, just saying.
Buy Low, Sell High - text book stuff really :-) ;-)
GLA LTHs - TFG
Oh dear, oh dear....why don't you introduce yourself to the WS board then Jackie. Perhaps you are paid to post and trying it on here will probably end in furlough. Rishi, keep some aside, actually on the other hand please keep for the deserving.
GLA LTHs - TFG
....exactly my own thoughts.
GLA LTHs - TFG
There’s a point sort of, but
———
If by de-risk you mean allowing the JV partner to assume more control over the investment vehicle then you might be correct in the sense that systematic risk has been stripped however the right to share an equitable portion of ‘production’ profits has been forfeited.
——-
you said you came in around 14p, so that was knowing that Hav had hit and JV for Hav was in place. By de-risking I meant the further good grades, loan and MRE for Hav. Your de-risking appears to be related to the Juri JV and has caused you to sell. Ok, each to their own, but by doing the JV, BH and PRE will be drilled in 2021 with outcomes, so I hope your alternatives prove fruitful in a similar timeframe.
GL - TFG
Am I reading this correctly - I came here when the company was even further away from production, I am leaving because it is away from production although very de-risked and I’m going to somewhere that hasn’t worked out that they will ever have production yet....
Perhaps there is logic in there somewhere , good luck.
GLA LTHs - TFG
Exactly MFU, admitting a mistake rather than comfortable with profit taken and moving on. Now clearly bitter towards LTHs who may still hold and even those tho might have bought the shares sold at 17p.
Some folk eh !
