Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The last 12 months of news has reduced the risk of major collapse or viability of GGP. Many AIM firms stagnate or collapse or sell out.
GGP has reduced risk with every RNS post the unfortunate EG situation and the first Hav result.
Not many firms can match that over 11-12 straight news releases.
Today has seen the biggest case of envy that I have experienced in about 10 years of observing the LSE site.
Once an Aim firms hits its sweetspot or jackpot if you will then as an investor you hope that it’s long term risk is reduced at each subsequent step as quick as possible. GGP has hit its initial sweetspot in Hav and has now reduced the risk with each subsequent step.
The other licences have superb potential which can propel this firm even further.
The MRE is simply another monumental milestone which will be observed and remarked upon for years to come but filled with envy and regret by quite a few as evident today.
The future is bright, the future is gold.

Claire-ly perhaps, maybe delusional
I'm a businesswomen doing bsuiness - should have sold yesterday or research is flawed or something.
Spelling awry also

Easy to get exposure to Newcrest at anytime and in fact virtually simultaneously when the JV’s were announced. That way one would still have 100% exposure to GGP’s tenements.
If the argument then would be, not interested in Newcrest’s other projects then just reinforcing how good GGP, their BoD and CEO are.
Some of us have been here 10+ years and yet it’s still going fast :-)

There are no current big buyers of SOLG from what it seems. Wax On, Wax Off. Wonder what price Daniel-San would take for a straight switch from SOLG to GGP.
The news here is great for the medium to long term and has the possibility off being layered nicely with more drilling results, SW and updates to the MRE even before drilling start on other prospects.
If your avg sp is still healthily below 29p then little to worry about imo. The volume, and it’s not massive, has come after the news so smacks of entry point rather than sell off.
A TR1 soon would be most excellent.

As a layman, just comparing the grades between Hav and Red Chris fuels the excitement - Hav is great and will become greater.

Aside from seeing the post close trade declarations, volume is fairly low today compared to the last couple of weeks where there hasn’t been news, so even if sells, hardly following the money imho.
Nerves of steel or nerves......just hold perhaps.

Bamptastic !
I would advocate a move into FTSE from AIM if one of Scallywag or Parlay or Goliath has promise to avoid a 'one hit wonder' scenario and trading volatility.

Just managed to listen to the whole AGM. Exceptional year and not over yet.
Mcap and sp moved in almost a vertical line with no disappointing dilutions. Solid plans laid for the year ahead with a "transformational point" of realisation at a recent Board meeting.
GH accepting of the JV terms and at least one benchmark (per sq km) suggesting a decent deal compared to others. @jerseycrew agree with your comment, Hav loan at +8% is the absolute worst case, but secured, if refinancing is more prohibitive during the timespan the $50mm is required.
SW is no icing on the cake or doomsday scenario, it is referred to as the 3rd project so not done regardless of the upcoming results.
Encouraging to reinforce maximising shareholder value which tends to rule out a takeover for at least another 2-3 years and especially at a "line the pockets of the Board" scenario.
Super happy at 12 months progress and looking forward to next 6-12 months.
Sit on hands.
Good luck all long term holders - TFG
Thanks to Zoros and others for providing commentary.
Were there any questions or direct comments about the Juri JV - terms, timing on drilling (post March), Hav loan terms....
I’m totally comfortable with actions taken, a lot of contention and counter arguments on this board previously though....

Perhaps it was this that did it “ don’t comment often but I know from information received that this share will fly next week“
Don’t comment ever might be more apt.

Sorry, jackthebear re:monetised
Havieron is going to be monetised - exactly Tiggerman
For me, similar words or phrases such as “it’s commercial” are fantastic - they are hard to come by on Aim and even when they do there still remain some significant risks.
Here, the de-risking is happening very fast and there must be a floor to the sp/mcap around the current sp. Cant wait for the MRE and the calculations that will ensue. Aim has a habit of taking defeat from the jaws of victory but NOT in the case of GGP imo.

Another great day for the sp and holders. Good volume again, minimum 30mm traded is becoming the norm.
I purchased first in 2010 and last in 2014 - reached a key personal target at precisely 28.3p.
Not selling a share. Thanks to all informative posters and those with sensible debate.

GH said in the interview that Project 3 is continued exploration at Scally. So, at worst they want to hit other targets there and at best it is to build on some encouraging/excellent results they have indications of.
I'd like to see a better loan option than +8% for 50MM for any AIM listed company right now. It is an option that they might only take a fraction of.
Wouldn't it be great if shares in issue are at a standstill or virtual standstill for the next 2-3 years - just with Hav to production it would be immense that only the current open market is the place to get hold of a stake.

That is extremely positive. Not easy to put a lid on things and PI’s need so much patience in between news. However, this level of volume pre-expected news is brilliant imho.
GLA LTH’s - TFG
.....well we don't know that outcome, yet, but the GGP BoD must have a strong indication and perhaps shared appropriately with NCM. I think when the Scally outcome hit, today's news will make total sense and demonstrate that GH and BoD are making good decisions with sensible steps.
I don't believe the loan is being printed today and will be drawn down in it full amount in one go- therefore, the lifetime of the loan and the interest accrued will not be folks' maximum calculation. Getting a committed loan on flexible terms means that NCM and GGP can map out a 2021 detailed plan which NCM must do as a major and GGP should do to keep progressing.
All good imho.
GLA LTH's - TFG
It looks like they are getting 25% for free and a further 50% by spending a lousy 20 mill. Doesn’t sound like a good deal to me
-------------
I beg to differ, a good deal if Scally hits and GGP can focus there whilst Juri is taken care of to find out its potential. A good deal if Scally doesn't hit but 20MM already committed to find out the potential in Juri.
So either way, a good deal imo.....?

The laugh is everyone is assuring him he’s made the right call , they better sell to , I think not .

Folk post about their dinner, their garden and their moving van. At least he posted a GGP based call on 1/3 of his position. I agree, there is a highly probable upside here and in the near term. I agree that beating your mortgage rate is not too difficult. However, taking a weight off you shoulders and de-risking a large part of your personal/family life can be congratulated. There is still risk here, perhaps not a catastrophe but still a risk.
GLA - TFG
who the feck is stupid enough to part with their shares to accommodate these funds at such low ball price
———
Easy fella. The chap made a personal call, good luck. News and volume will shift the price, not the odd sell. Hold for news, but as a PI taking profit is fine - I believe someone posted the same a couple of months back at a similar price and praise was heaped on them.
