Short term £10 maybe?
Fingers crossed
Adding now £11.63 to SIPP. Not trading yet.
Expecting it to drop futher. As long time now till the next update.
Adding to SIPP for long term. Will start to trade soon but might drop further in the short term. As results look bad if you don't understand the business. Which most investors don’t.
Looks like opportunity to add a trade has come sooner than I expected. :D
Large Long term holding in SIPP, always.
Trade in ISA, at the moment I went full in on that easyJet drop last week, when the boarder gateways went down, their results are Thursday coming and should be strong, already up.
BUR I’m not sure is a trading stock currently, better options available. If it drops I will add, if it goes up happy days for my SIPP. The results Q1,23 were actually good! Strong operation gains from YPF adjustments, won’t get that again in these results. Really hard to tell what will happen, but if it keep dropping to where you said, I will def trade it sane as you.
I see it to Renegade
Strong demand for travel has helped to deliver a very good first quarter and we are well-positioned for the summer
Summary
• Strong demand across our airlines has driven higher revenue, positive unit revenue and, alongside our transformation benefits, increased operating profit in the first quarter of 2024
• Operating profit before exceptional items of €68 million (Q1 2023: €9 million), an increase of €59 million
• We continue to invest in our core markets, with 7.0% passenger capacity growth vs Q1 2023
• Non-fuel unit costs in the quarter were as expected. They reflect planned investment to deliver customer benefits and operational efficiency, as well as the annualised impact of 2023 pay deals; no change to expectations for the full year
• Our balance sheet continues to strengthen, benefitting from strong profit and cash performance as well as seasonality: net debt to EBITDA before exceptional items of 1.3 times (31 December 2023: 1.7 times, 31 March 2023: 2.1 times)
• We are well-positioned for the summer

Luis Gallego, IAG Chief Executive Officer, said:
"Our transformation initiatives and increased demand, including over the Easter holidays, have delivered another very good set of results with improvements to both revenue and operating profit.
"Our Group benefits from the strength of our core markets - North Atlantic, South Atlantic and intra-Europe - and the performance of our brands. Investment across the Group in transformation is delivering encouraging improvements in punctuality and customer experience at our airlines. IAG Loyalty continues to perform very well.
"We are well-positioned for the summer. The high demand for travel is a continuing trend."
Stick your finger in the air, we have Q1 coming!
I think they will either be similar to Q1,23 or better showing more cash generation. We know it usually the slowest quarter.
Been waiting for this drop and was very greedy in adding a position here, knowing how well Easy is doing not just with flights but their package holiday booking, which are going through the roof! With old Thomas Cook & airlines operating boeing to take addtional customers from.

Bit dangerous, just playing the waves. As amount fairly low.
Well Preska may say yes, as they are within their rights to request them to pay the dept, but they will never give up the shares and will be in contempt of a US Federal Court, this will soon go up the Argies priority list to settle.
Such an interesting stock to own! Especially when you follow a big public case like Petersen.
Form Maril, the main issue is not economical but political, as he considered there are “over ten ways” the country could pay once it negotiates with the creditors — for instance, by issuing a bond.

IMF are wanting this to be addressed.
Preska ruling on the YPF shares is key, to getting them to the negotiating table sooner rather than later.
BUR going after the YPF shares is going to give them the heebie-jeebies, especially as Preska said they could be used as collateral to prevent enforcement.
Thank you Mithaq.
Well you got the drop for your ISA top up you wanted FFC.
Im in the blue now. onwards and upwards.
I’m in two minds if this adding to share pool had anything todo with the drop.
It is not generally something the market encourages and often a drop in centimetre does happen when it does occurs.
It’s not a lot of shares in the grand scheme of things, not like what TUI done.
I see it as an opportunity to add, as future still looks very bright. Shorts may have played on it, as it is confusing.
It is one hell of a drop in just two trading days. Hold on to your seats.
It will recover in time. i have seen this happen a fair few times with this stock.
Yes Surfie, should of!
With 735K shared traded in the US in less than an hour, makes UK look like a laughing stock really.
We seem to have equal buy/sell for this to just be 1.4% down in US.
Looks like its being shorted to me. Keep a close eye to see if shorts increase in a week or so. Takes time for the data to update.
Your guess is as good as mine. May early to mid. I was looking to be back in before 9th May. As my aim was to Bank as much interest on cash as i could.
The volume puzzles me. This can still go either way in the very short term.
