U.S markets taking another hit, pre Labor Day Monday holiday, especially the Nasdaq.

European markets finally capitulating somewhat now too, after resisting yesterday's drops.

Nothing new here, IMHO!

Some of us have been discussing, and expecting, major positives from the "open at depth" at Havieron for many, many months now!

Why? Because if you read all of the research & comments that many of us have seen, for years now, the "depth" issue has been paramount, in numerous cases, including from those miners that have gone before us and later commented that GH had the balls to go deeper!

Encounter Resources (ASX: ENR) has firmed up “compelling” targets for drilling at its wholly-owned Lamil project near Newcrest Mining’s (ASX: NCM) Telfer gold-copper mine in Western Australia’s Paterson Province.

In addition to its proximity to Telfer, Encounter noted Lamil was in a similar structural setting to Rio Tinto’s (ASX: RIO) Winu copper-gold deposit.

Over the past 18 months, Encounter has completed new magnetic, airborne electromagnetic and ground induced polarisation surveys at the project.

...as inventories decline on Chinese panic buying.

London Metal Exchange (LME) warehouses on Tuesday reported their lowest copper stock levels since 2005 — just 88,250 tonnes.

That is not even equivalent to one week’s consumption in China, let alone for the global market overall.

Stock levels at the LME have fallen 14 trading days in a row.

Some commentators characterise China’s copper splurge as “panic buying”; in June, the country’s imports of unwrought copper were up 50% on the May figure.

Yet, China’s overall copper stockpile dropped 40% in the June quarter.

Nope! I won'tt shed any tears, whatsoever! You clearly don't understand some investors strategy in life. I'll just move on. What if. what if, what if....! ;-)

Sorry napthman1, but like a lot of investors you maybe just don't understand investment and what the individual investor wishes to do over their life!

Maybe you're happy with someone that has risked their GGP investment, from an initial 0.65p level for years, and continued their risk to a level of 16.50p for a 2,500% return. Are you seriously telling me that they shouldn't top slice some of that as a risk/reward level??

IMHO I've always thought next week, despite some of the usual ramper's on here! ;-)

IMHO, with all of the "open at depth" statements we've seen for many months now, we WILL indeed see a significant amount of drilling "at depth" to establish the true extent of the motherlode.

I've expected that to be a game changer for some time now, but feel free to hold me to that going forward!

Sorry, but that's just rubbish IMHO! It's not all about what YOU think a company will do going forward, fundamentals, or not. It's purely a risk/reward choice at a point in your life, and if you don't see that then I give up!

I don't know what your age is, or your investment strategy over 1/5/10/20/30 years, but, IF you think that it's all about the 'fundamentals' of one stock then good luck! :-)

What, like some "weak holders" that may wish to top slice some of their holdings after buying in to GGP at well below 1p?

How do you know that it's daft? Surely everyone has their own investment strategies for whatever reason at a time in their life and/or investment life?

I don't mind saying that I top sliced some of my GGP shares today @ 16.52p because it's part of my personal plan, as has been for some time.

Why do you believe that "the unreported drills to the north west are outside this zone and probably define the extent"?

Also, "The high grade zone is very thin at this point and not so deep."

Are you sure of your summation? Just wondering as nothing is certain in this world. But, as always, only time will tell.
