Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV) (OTCMKTS:ARTTF) has started diamond drilling at Carlow Castle Gold Project in the West Pilbara region of WA as part of Project One Million targeting resources of 1 million ounces.

The drilling is aimed at expanding the mineralised envelope which remains open in multiple directions....

Fortescue Metals Group’s commitment to a Paterson Province copper-gold joint venture with Carawine Resources in Western Australia has been strengthened.

Fortescue plans to complete a $50,000 drilling campaign in the Eider tenement, located 35 kilometres south of Newcrest Mining’s Telfer gold mine.

This is aimed to boost the chances of a discovery within the JV tenements....

....The Paterson Province is home to many recent copper-gold discoveries, including Rio Tinto’s Winu and Greatland Gold and Newcrest’s Havieron copper-gold deposits.

IMHO nothing is certain in the AIM investment life! Sure, it could well be the same as yesterday, but, just as likely, it could change, and we could see a late rise, or fall.... As always, only time will tell...

If we want to talk about depth too, with the same analogy, Havieron reminds me of the National Express song, and, with apologies to the squeamish, and sensitive, the fat brother also probably has an arse the size of a small country!

As jdt1990 says, unless the stake triggers a TR1 requirement, there's no specific reason for RNS. I may be wrong, but I don't believe that GGP have done so before when other funds have bought stock.

The other positive is that the broker ratings for Newcrest Mining are all pretty much up, but more importantly, also largely based on the Havieron drill results, which hasn't been the case in most of their previous ratings.

They're probably amending the figures up again!

As soon as they've got it all prepared, something new pops up!
