Just look at the basics! It's really simple! Why do so many people want to complicate matters with, largely, pointless economic/investment theory?! Thankfully I've never listened, and gone by gut feeling, based on facts and, maybe, just maybe, through research, known a whole load more than people who seem to think that they know more! They largely, if not 100% don't! For goodness sake, DYOR!

Indeed Tom! Personally though I have one word, 'Oversold', oh, and I'd definitely add another three, 'in the extreme'. GLA!

Whatever 'phase' we may be in, IMHO, getting back to basics, GGP is the best investment I've EVER made in my whole investment life, and, I'm well into my 60's!

At my time in life I don't need anyone telling me what I should, or should not invest in now. I've seen it all, done it all, and have the T-shirts, believe me!

Let's not forget:

Gervaise Heddle in June 2018, after the initial Havieron drill results, "Geologists in their 40 year career could go for 40 years and not see results like this."

David Lenigas (OK, I know, 'marmite', but..) describing Havieron as a "once in a generation resource, maybe two generations." it says it all!

On top of that, doing my own major research on GGP for years, and taking aboard several trusted others on this site, I know what, IMHO, GGP's true value is, and it ain't in the low 20's, and that's NOW! If you take in the TRUE value currently, based on Havieron alone, and add the other tenements, the low 20's are, quite frankly, pathetic in the extreme!

As always, just my personal view, but, I can't be more sure thet we'll see a massive uptrend in the sp before long.

Why another thread? There's a pleasant discussion going on already, so why start another one on the same topic? Sorry i just don't get the reasoning behind why people do this!

I totally understand your view, but, in my past experience dealing with similar situations you can't just go around "putting pressure" on every government official "link in the chain" in this type of bureaucracy, because you're very likely to cause upset with one, or numerous people, largely to the detriment of your company and any hope of doing business with the government. Unfortunately, in my view, the reality is that sometimes it indeed takes years to work your way through the bureaucratic systems which are evident in Mongolia and you generally can't just side-step the system.

Just my view and hopefully this will all be resolved before much longer.

Personally, should the next four Scallywag drilling assays be no better than the first three, then i really don't care. They are just seven drill holes, purely 'sighters' in exploration terms! Sadly, many people just don't get it! TT

Hi Manro, I've enjoyed reading some of the recent threads and your views. I'm interested to know, in detail, what more you would wish the MATD BOD to do to expedite the issuance of the EL.

From one of your earlier posts am I correct in believing that you'd maybe like them to send a letter to Khaltmaagiin Battulga and step over the decision makers?

Just wishing to get a better picture of how you think that the process can be expedited in Mongolia.

As Gervaise Heddle clearly stated, in the last Proactive video interview with him, he was at pains to stress the value and importance of the Copper grades at Havieron. In mentioning the ongoing consistently high Gold & Copper grades in three specific holes, he stated:

"All of those three holes that I just mentioned, they've all got approximately 0.5% Copper n them and that's very valuable and I'd remind people the value of that Copper in the system in addition to the Gold grades we're seeing."

Greatland Gold has applied for an exploration license that holds a similar magnetic target to the Havieron project in the Paterson Region of Western Australia.

Greatland stated that the Canning exploration license would open the door to the company’s focus on finding Tier 1 gold-copper deposits.

The Canning exploration license is around 175 kilometres south east of Greatland’s Havieron joint venture project with Newcrest Mining.

No previous drill testing of the magnetic target has been recorded.

Greatland chief executive Shaun Day said the license would expand the company’s hold on the Paterson region.

“We are pleased to apply for the new Canning licence which will expand our footprint in the Paterson region and build on our exploration momentum in this region,” he said.

“The licence application area contains the bulk of a large magnetic ‘bullseye’ anomaly similar to the one located over the Havieron deposit.

“This fits in with our strategy of seeking to discover Tier 1 gold-copper deposits. We look forward to reporting progress on the application in due course.”

The Canning exploration license spans over a 114 square-kilometre area.

Greatland plans to compile and review historical exploration data from the region ahead of the granting of the license.

To be honest napthman1 I have absolutely no idea, whatsoever. the whole BB seems to be crammed, especially recently with personal views as to what will happen in a minute/hour/day. Pretty much all of them have been wrong, and, basically pointless!

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I really don't care. That in no way is being disrespectful to your post, it's purely that I'm just fed up with the increasing drivel we've seen on this BB over the past week , or so.

Either you believe in GGP medium/long term, based on the fundamentals. or you don't!

IMHO there is no 'best' platform as such, as picking a particular platform will depend on several factors, including, but not exclusively, how often you want to trade, what shares/funds you want to be able to buy, what global markets you want to trade in. Each platform will generally have pricing based on these and other factors. Personally I use Interactive Investor, as I trade often and internationally (including GGP of course) and their packages/discounts work for me.

Re Commodity supercycle- Nice to see the mainstream media finally catching up on what some of us on here were talking about months ago., when it actually started IMHO.

Let's not forget that prior to Greatland Gold he was a Managing Director at Macquarie Funds Group where he was responsible for seeding and developing hedge funds and new asset management strategies, and before that a Fund Manager and Director at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. He began his career as a global equities analyst for Bankers Trust Australia.

If your comment was possibly facetious, and I apologise if it wasn't, then I'd answer it in a facetious manner as well, and say, YES! We have nuggets, so YES we do!

They were exploration holes! They were disappointing, sure, but not 'bad'! Maybe if you don't understand what Greatland Gold does, as an exploration company, then you may view them as 'bad', but you'd be missing the point, IMHO!

Who knows what the next four will indicate, but, whatever they show, they are largely 'sighters' as to where we need to drill next.

Tom, all I can do is post what I have previously, and of course it's just a personal estimate, but As always here, purely my opinion, but:

Drilling at Scallywag started around mid-August 2020 (RNS on the 19th August)
There were a TOTAL of 7 drill holes made on the tenement.
Drilling stopped around end October 2020.
The assays for the first 3 drill holes were reported on the 20th January 2021

I don't know if the remaining 4 drill assays will be reported together, but the above, everything else being equal, would seem to indicate that it could well be March before we receive all of the results. TT
