Hi Bamps, thanks, I accept that the RNS doesn't say that they'll issue the results as soon as received, but why would they? They don't need to, and never have before. IMHO, they have to release after receipt, under AIM disclosure rules.

Anyway, let's leave it at that and we'll just differ in our views. ATB TT

IMHO, I don't see where that is even indicated at all in the RNS, but ho hum, only time will tell...

With respect Bamps, there seems to be a view around now that the last RNS is indicating that the final four Scallywag assays will be used to evaluate new targets and models BEFORE release to the markets. I'm not certain that that's also your view, but, IMHO, that is not what the RNS says, or implies. IMHO they will release the new assays as soon as received. They will then be used, with the first three, for modelling and new targeting.

Believe it or not, even AIM companies do also have to release such information through RIS asap of any inside information concerning the company. In their case it's obligation is set out under Rule 11 of the AIM Rules.

Maybe that the remaining Scallywag results will be released as and when they are received by Greatland Gold?

Drilling at Scallywag started around mid-August 2020 (RNS on the 19th August)
There were a TOTAL of 7 drill holes made on the tenement.
Drilling stopped around end October 2020.
The assays for the first 3 drill holes were reported on the 20th January 2021

The serious assay lab delays have been posted about in the media, on company websites & BB's for many months now. There is no conspiracy theory, IMHO!

I don't know if the remaining 4 drill assays will be reported together, but the above, everything else being equal, would indicate that they can be expected this month, but possibly maybe not until April if you take into account the Christmas/New Year holidays.

Well, all I can say is, good luck with your 'head and shoulders'! The last time I even considered anything like that was having a photo taken with my wife on Brighton Pier back in the 1970's!

Personally, I'd rather just stick to fundamentals and, although being largely overbought in GGP, just couldn't resist topping up again @ 21.05p, which, IMHO is a giveaway!

Greatland Gold plc, the precious and base metals exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that multiple pieces of gold have been recovered from surface in the first few days of field work at its 100% owned Black Hills licence in the Paterson region of Western Australia. IMHO, they and/or MM's are likely to be handling it differently each time to throw off the market.

These types of articles are generally mass produced by, largely, lazy finance market journo's, who are pretty clueless about what's actually happening in the real world, and will copy what their clueless mates post too!

As most of us know already, and have done so for a considerable time now, Greatland Gold is already sitting on one of the biggest gold, and other valuable mineralisation motherlodes for a generation, or more!

Do we really need some ivory-towered journo to even start to understand?!

IMHO, it'll probably mention GGP as one of the highest multiplying share prices on the AIM last year, but likely to have no other researched viewpoint, as is usually the case.

Maybe I'm wrong, quite possibly, if anyone else subscribes?

Joint venture partner Newcrest Mining (ASX: NCM) is not only among the largest gold mining firms worldwide, but also the biggest gold producer listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Greatland signed a four-stage $65 million farm-in agreement with Newcrest back in March 2019, giving Newcrest the right to earn up to a 70% interest in the joint venture.

Newcrest, which operates exploration activity at Havieron, can also acquire another 5% stake once the farm-out period is over.

As I've said several times over the past year or so, what we're talking about is a takeover of Greatland Gold and all of it's assets, or a partial buy out?

IMHO, a 100% buyout of Havieron by NCM is inevitable in the next 12 months, or so. I don't believe that they'd want anything different, and would want total control going forwards.

As for a 100% takeover of Greatland Gold, then I'm not so sure. Much will depend on future drill assays from, especially, the Juri J/V, as well as other GGP tenements.
