Smezbay, DaProphet - totally agree. Do these people expect business owners to never to retire or have an exit strategy? Is he expected to die and leave his shares in the company?

When do we think we will again see the 7.18p spike of Feb 21 which was on the CBA rumour/news?
FinalFantasy - you put in one sentence what i was trying to say in several paragraphs :-)
Apple survived the untimely demise of Steve Jobs, and I might be wrong but Mr Selfridge and Mr Kellogs are no longer with us but their business's are - business is fluid, if it isn't it sinks.
I'd rather have a CEO that has interests elsewhere and has (so far) made decent business decisions (and some money for us too) than a CEO totally and exclusively dedicated to us but has terrible business sense! GLA.
with Trevor selling - on a personal note I've been a (private) company director for 22 years and at my age I'm wanting to take it easy and we worked out an exit strategy for the three directors gradually releasing cash via share sale over a period of time. The company will go on in my/our eventual absence. No one person can go on forever for a variety of reasons - health, alternative investments etc.
I want the money to invest elsewhere (property) totally different to the business challenge that I've had for the last 22 years.
So why is Trevor any different?? Priorities change, people move on, life goes on.
If the fundamentals haven't changed, whats's the problem? Don't forget Trevor sold out some shares previously - price went up - he also paid us a good divvy - there has been a high into the £1.20's giving everyone the opportunity to cash in (I didn't).
That's my take on it - de-rampers can de-ramp, it matters not one jot :-) - GLA
JHFH - totally agree - Global Co will have established templates for these buy ins/buy outs/licence deals, so the formats will be readily available and examples of previous deals types will be put to Hemo - i think it is purely a numbers game i.e. valuations an %'s to be negotiated - GLA.
thanks for your efforts ISA :-)
