For half an hour this afternoon I thought that I was being subjected to a most vindictive and abusive attack, and went and sat in a corner and cried.
And then discovered it was an imposter using my pseudonym, or something similar. He has to go. I cannot take the mental stress.
Of course he is wrong and misinformed. Unless of course Sandeep, Heddle , ME ?? , St Paddy , Spy , his and my inside advisers, around 500 reasonably astute and normally courteous members of this board, Numis, Proactive, Hargreave L, Value adviser, ...........et al........... are all / we all.... are misinformed and illiterate incompetent investors, who are unable to read and absorb, a quarterly or exploration report.
But please , in forming any aggressive and destructive scalping, please try and ensure that it is correctly addressed so as as not to offend shy and sensitive souls like me - just call me """ tig """.

Correct - dividends get paid out of revenue / profit.
Special dividends get paid out of accumulated reserves / cash.
IF / WHEN GGP sell havieron ( not the whole of GGP ) they will become cash rich.
Assume for arguments sake, Havieron fetches an equivalent of 35p a share ( £ 1 Billion approx ) , GGP would retain say 25p a share for ongoing activities / Scallywag drilling , and return 10p a share to its shareholders. Quite possible in these circumstances. and very welcome.
GGP remains the same company and resets is share price accordingly.
If GGP is sold in toto, then you would be paid by the purchasing co. in cash / shares / or a combination of both, and GGP would no longer exist.

There may have been lots of reasons to worry , to not sleep at night, to fear something disastrous happening, BUT, in my view those days are gone. GGP is still an AIM exploration company but which has now had its risk levels virtually extinguished. Very unusual for exploration companies. AND they are currently in bed with one of Oz's finest miners with $$$s in their pocket.
From now on, I will have very few concerns , which , after a disastrous SXX debacle, and this astonishing GGP turnaround and loss recovery, is going to make my life significantly comfortable.
So all those newbies, rampers, worriers, who bombard this board with daft questions about "" ooh, why has the SP just dropped o.ooo3%, "" - "" when is the next quarterly report due "" , - "" how many oz of gold will there be in this resource "" - "" when is the SP going to reach £1-13p "", --- should all now shut up, read up on the enormous encyclopaedic reference material available from this website with very specific reference to uncle Paddy, DYOR as they say , have some faith in an absolute near dead certainty, have patience as from now on , and all in good time , the SP will gain steadily as more and more hard data hits the headlines, independently produced MRE assessment in Q3 , start dates for declines / inclines / block caves, GH u-tube chats, massive increases in POG up to $$$2000 this year , Scally wag developments, ( WOW - probably another Havieron Plus , PLUS , other resource developments, sale of Havieron for £ 1 Billion with subsequent special divis , .................and more.

Newcrest Mining is seeking to raise $1.1 billion to fund future growth at its mine sites globally as other companies preserve cash due to concerns over economic uncertainty.

The move will also expand Newcrest’s exposure to gold production at Lundin Gold’s Fruta del Norte mine in Ecuador after raising its ownership stake in Lundin to 32 per cent in December last year.

Newcrest has acquired the gold prepay, stream facilities and an offtake agreement in respect to Fruta del Norte for $US460 million ($701.6 million).

Newcrest managing director Sandeep Biswas said the purchase was in line with the company’s growth strategy.

“The acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive with the gold prepay and stream facilities expected to provide

Newcrest with economic exposure to approximately 400,000 ounces of gold from the mine between 2020 and 2026,” Biswas said.

“With gold prices at the levels we see today, Newcrest expects to receive significant cash flows which will rank ahead of Lundin Gold’s equity holders.”

Lundin’s offtake agreement allows Newcrest to acquire 50 per cent of refined gold production from Fruta del Norte up to 2.5 million ounces.

Newcrest also intends to use the $1 billion placement to construct declines at the Havieron and Red Chris projects in Western Australia and Canada respectively.

The gold miner is now placed in trading halt in anticipation of it launching the equity placement.

During the March quarter, Newcrest produced 519,000 ounces of gold and 35,000 tonnes of copper, down from 550,000 ounces and 38,000 tonnes in the previous period.

“Newcrest’s gold production in the quarter is in line with our expectations following the recent update to guidance on 11 March 2020 and reflects the impacts of planned shuts at Cadia and Telfer and the divestment of Gosowong in March,” Biswas said.

Production at Telfer was 6 per cent lower than the prior quarter due to a reduction in underground ore mill feed, while both of Cadia’s concentrators were shut according to planned maintenance.

Newcrest expects its gold production in the June quarter to exceed that achieved in the March period.

Its production guidance for the 2020 financial year remains unchanged.

On the NCM website it announces release of a 16 page quarterly report, but cannot get it to download as yet.

An interesting event with Scotia Bank leaving the business of precious metals trading , due to a seriousl growing shortage of hard physical gold. They ( Scotia ) reckon POG wll be approx 2000 $$$s by the end of this year , such is the conflict between supply and demand.
What a market for GGP / NCM to be in - what an amazing area in Oz to be extracting gold - what an astonishing fund of resources at their fingertips - what a stable Government to be supporting it - what great companies to be invested in at this moment - and within 12 hours of an earth shattering set of announcements ( ( if that was not so - why would we all be sitting here waiting - mouths wide open ??? ).
The world is their / our oyster.

I get all sorts of spam and junk e-mail on a daily basis, and run a filter system to try and sort the wheat from the chaff. However sometimes, some of it does slip through. The other day , I opened up to find my mate Mike had been watching Fox News or some other Murdoch equivalent, and had sent to me world breaking news about Jonah, who on passing through airport security, had been “ patted down “ in a body search by a young female officer. Her sensitive and experienced fingers instantaneously detected what could only have been a rifle barrel, or similar dangerous weapon. A weapon of mass destruction perhaps? The alarm bells rang, and he was soon in a secure cell being strip searched and thoroughly checked. The outcome of the actuality splashed itself across the Worlds headlines.

A young lady renowned for her purity,

The ggpreat thing about this board ( with only one or two nameless exceptions ) is that it is courteous , educational and humorous. This is certainly a day ( with no real action expected until the later hours ) to keep that state of affairs.
In some of my more distant time I was a poor poet ( my pseudonym was Will-I-am , The Bard ). I f this board runs out of steam, I might just publish one .

But 138 recs plus 58 further one's had even me gobsmacked. It does however reflect a very proactive board and I am privileged to be a part of it

I really am quite shy and modest, but I have been astounded by the response. - knocking on 100 tick ups. For which many thanks. It demonstrates what an active board this is . I just feel good transmitting helpful info. I do though feel Paddy is exceptional in this respect, as what he provides needs hard graft. And there are others.
If it was that that drove the MM's to drive up into blue territory , then I am delighted. I am an experienced octogenarian investor , ( my fathers best man at his wedding in the early 30's was a founder of Redmayne Bentley - stockbrokers ) but I will never , never understand the SP positioning , with a dropping price when buys far exceed sells, the same when good news is pouring forth, etc.
I joined this board when ii screwed up what was an excellent board, as I believe did many others, and I have never regretted it.

With even a bit of factoring in, I find it impossible to believe that following some brilliant NCM hard data, exclaiming great assay results , over hugely increased acreage, plus expansive plans to motorise toward developing mine access and accelerate earlier production, that the market will not respond significantly.
Who knows ?? not tig. but..............

Hard for me to ask direct questions, but I would guess that NCM would do the instructing. They are the miners. GH may just give the nod. Am sure that once Paddy works out from his satellite shots were the work is starting, as usual he will be able to brilliantly define where and how that work will progress. For me it will increase my interest in the shots.
