Do not wish to get carried away, but am optimistic for a good solid weeks trading , embellished on Wednesday by Callum Baxters strong confirmation of the GGP position, their forward looking intentions, and a bit more meat on the bones from last weeks quarterly issuances from N.CM.
All of the pundits put GGP SP at around 12p minimum , and I would like to see that achieved..

Why is it that one third of this board continue to ask DAFT questions, and make DAFT comments, that another third of this board, who are diligent researchers of facts, data, and truth continue to answer courteously, even tho those questions have already been asked and answered a dozen times . DYOR

Several days the number of contributions has reached the high hundreds and even thousands. 80% are meaningless chit chat , jibes, provocations , space wasting , abuse , and at times destroying the best LSE board there has ever been...............
for its content, for its principal subject - GGP, for its expert contributors ( nameless but revered, ) for the excellent links provided, for its calculators ( of facts ) , and for its erudite wisdom.

GGP do not and will not have a cash problem.
After Havieron success, any deal that they do with NCM / Rio ? or anyone else for a joint venture on Scallywag will not be the peanut deal that they did for Hav ( then something of an unknown )
Scally is a well known unknown, and by the end of another 4 / 5 months it will emerge as a very , very well exceptional known unknown. It will not be a graded / stage 1,2,3,4, peanut deal. It will be a substantial cash down deal. Scally is not going to be a proven mineral desert , slap in the middle of some of the worlds largest new gold deposits. Get real. GH is sitting in a very strong seat.
But it is not in his interest to get into a scrap with is good mates in NCM. It is all about longer term shareholder interest for both companies. They are sitting on a proverbial goldmine, and a fair and equitable compromise will be reached. And we will not be unhappy with that result. Get real . The future is bright. the sun is rising over them thar hills. Just be patient. It has not been too bad so far.

Because 30% / 25% of the annual prduction will cost them a lot more.
30,000,000 oz's over 25 years = 1,200,000 oz per annum X 30% = 360,000 oz X a conservative $300 = $ 1,080,000,000
Halve it / double it, adjust any way you wish, and you still end up better off by buying out Havieron

Yes NCM pay GGP in cas h for sole rights to Hav. and it is all theirs , possibly with other things thrown into the bargain, - could be anything.
GGP is then cash rich, and they will certainly retain all they need to continue in business, drill Scally and anywhere else , buy more licence3s , whatever. And hopefully dish out a special divi to his loyal band of supporters.

Spot on Maximus. - We are all able to poly hypothesise on the various outcomes, ......but..... none of us know. Just be patient. It will happen.
Were NCM to pay us 25p a share, that would be something approaching 1 Billion $$$'s, I think most of us would be very happy.
We would still have our GGP shares, GH would probably dish out a special divi of 10p a share ( pretty good - I wont send it back ) - and my shares are then worth 15p ..... PLUS .... whatever Scallywag shows up with .... plus the other bits and pieces.
It wont be anything to complain about.

Never thought that the highlights of my week would be arriving at Sainsburys for the oldies priveleged early shopping at 7-40 am and getting the 9th place in the queue.. But I have never enjoyed the shopping so much. Straight through and back by
9-00 am to open up this board and peruse the thoughts of ???? god knows how many fellow investors , feeding the board with comment every few second of the day.
But this time in the morning always seems civilised. Talking mostly to the wheat.......not the chaff.

The $$$ 1700 barrier just achieved. Can't go wrong.

POG just about to break back through the $$$ 1700 barrier having risen from around $$ 1680 today.
THere was a bit of a sell off of gold yesterday as the US economy dived , and today the buyers moved back in.
POG to hit $$$ 2000 by the year end.
Good gold miners and stunning ly successful exploration companies like GGP ( and there are not many around that are perty to dicovering the largest gold deposits in the last 100 years, in a stable , sane, relatively Corvid19 free , and well governed economy , who are dependent upon commodities for a huge proportion of their GDP.
I repeat all of that for the newbie , nervous, uncertain investors, ..... cos that is why many of us LTH's are going to be hanging around for a bit.
Next adrenalin injection will be Callum Baxter next week - 6th May 2020 - gushing his unrestrained enthusiasm for his company.

D1873 macca Just been trawling , and it is always heartlifting to get a compliment
I had just trawled back to check my 10-49 28th April which carried a similar message , and was gobsmacked to see 164 tick ups , followed by a mere 60 tick ups for a subsequent effort - and I now know what Capt. Tom Moore - ( Now honorary Colonel ) must feel after his 140,000 odd birthday cards arrived and still arriving ), plus a spitty flypast as well.
To give up now on GGP would be suicidal. In 60 years of investing I have yet to meet a better opportunity.
Great to be able to contribute with ( most of - there are one or two exceptions ) you guys. There is a lot to learn from the experienced LTH's , and on this board there are many who have made exceptional contributions.

Some normality does appear to be returning to the board now, so hopefully the SP will start to respond to all the stunning news of the last few days, and maintain the traditional board cheerfulness and courtesy.
There is massive gold there in Havieron.
There are two fine companies and CEO's
There is an urgency in the proceedings
There is an untouched "" patch "" , 5 kilometers up the road , that needs some GGP attention.
And Summer is on its way ( winter in OZ )

Kevijoh just research the mass of accumulated data available from its board, the company websites, the RNS,s, the drill reports, ask yourself why one of the world's major miners is accelerating its site development at F 1 speed, and I could continue for hours.
Disprove these facts, and I would agree with you.
Or tell me how you assess a share that you wish to invest in. Maybe I could change my approach after 60 years of investing.
