Reasons why a company night prefer a large share holder to sell ;

EASIER DEAL EXECUTION , if the buyer of the company wants more control and prefers a certain shareholder structure , it will be easier is a large share holder sells before the deal .

AVOIDING ACTIVIST INVESTORS , if the large shareholder is an activist investor who might oppose the deal , it could be advantageous for the company if the EXIT EARLY .

PREVENTING STOCK PRICE RUN UP , If rumors of a buyout leak , the stock price could rise before the deal is finalized , potentially making the acquisition more expensive or jeopardizing negotiations ..

By the way Jollifant , Trump is not a deal maker , he hasnt made one deal since he arrived .. The Gaza deal was a joke and is never going to happen .. Putin is not going to listen to trump and Ukrane are not interested either .

Aim investing , if Metlen was to buy the 10 per cent now on offer , a RNS will legally have to be issued on the Basis of major holdings , open market buying before a take over never happens . WHY , as then it would be clear a buy out is coming which would drive the SP up significantly ensuring the buy out price now would be a hell of alote more ..

Its going to take some serious more 5 millions buys to get to 500 k .. Yes agree for every seller there has to be a buyer ??

The question is St Martins , why would someone or a institute sell 500 k worth of shares now ... We had a glowing RNS , china Ban , and Metlen sniffing around to buy us out .. not adding up .. unless this is a distressed seller , selling due to other financial problems completely unrelated to Rock .

To clarify there are no earthquakes in the Molaoi region ,, the mini earth quakes are 400 kil away , which means in real time one would the earthquake would have to travel 4 hours by road to reach Molaoi , and this region has no history of earthquakes ... its a common thing in the AEGEAN SEA THIS TIME OF YEAR , HENCE COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO TODAYS SP ACTION ..
