Never mind the suspension. I'm very concerned that after my night shift tonight there'll be no oven chips in Morrisons. Down to my last bag. My personal opinion is that it's quite the relief to see this share doing nothing whilst my others dive, dive, dive.

As the title suggests so I won't name. I have another aim investment as I can't invest here. A South African mineral company whose price has dropped over 50% in the last week, but I think it's one for the future. So an RNS lands this morning saying that the South African government has put measures into place and that's them basically shut down for the next 3 weeks. 2 minutes after I topped up, ha ha. Life's a beach. So my point is that it may happen in Russia at some point too, although we are quite remote. Fingers crossed folks, this covid-19 is a pain in the hoop.

Thanks gents for the kind words. It's good to be able to go back into a shop. I went this morning for my lockdown weekly shop which is basically a loaf of bread and a couple of small packets of ham. Still plenty of folk about at 7am this morning. Hope common sense kicks in. A nice RNS would definitely give us some cheer but I'm happy to wait for a great one.

Well done for keeping this going Ian. Good luck for today. I'm back to work today after my 7 day quarantine whilst everyone else goes on lockdown. I was speaking to a friend in Benidorm last night and the government in Spain have issued paperwork to workers that has to be shown to police when stopped. You also have to show a receipt after shopping. We're not as locked down as we can be yet so it will be interesting to see what happens over this first day. I only hope that people don't hide behind the excuse of government mistrust when when exercising their more selfish side.

Well said ftsedow. This isn't the time for politics. It's the time for people to listen to the advice and to maintain distance. I saw some of the pictures from the parks at the weekend and I'm hearing stories of full beaches, markets and of people in the local shop, far too close to each other. If people take no notice then more people will die. It's very simple and it appears that some people indeed do not care as long as they get to do what they want to do and when they want to do it. Please do the right thing, keep yourself safe, that's all you can do. Otherwise it will be the police and the army like it is in other countries.

Although we don't have much EUA to discuss people should really be thinking about what they're saying on here. If it's potentially going to cause offence please have a long hard think about it. If people are getting to you, filter them. For some it's their agenda to annoy you and get a reaction. I'm seeing a lot of green boxes as well as some not so well thought out posts. I'm happy to let people believe what they believe. Please try and be a bit kinder as we've all got a lot to out up with and it's going to get worse.

Great news. My daughter is bringing me bread and milk. It's the simple things you know. Yay.

That's a humanitarian nightmare Numbers. Fingers crossed the infected stay away. I saw on the clip that 25 were sharing one toilet but I'm sure in many cases it will be much more. I've just had a conversation with my daughter who is being pressured to attend a mother's day meal in a restaurant despite spending the day with me before I became symptomatic. I think some people aren't really getting it. I also hear that a lot of people in Italy are still freely moving despite around 3500 deaths. Stay safe folks.

Off topic. Just seen a clip on BBC news about the slums in Nairobi. Gotta be thankful for what we've got as if the covid-19 hits places like that then it will be terrible. Hundreds of thousands, 7 to a room. Puts my life into perspective anyway. Just a thought.

Sorry but that made me chortle. We are not mushrooms. That would make a great sign at a protest or a hash tag. Everyone has different time lines I suppose and it would be nice to know what's happening, as there is nothing of interest happening here, but I'm cool with waiting as there's not much else to do.

Thanks Pete, I'm relatively fine. Unfortunately because of the lack of testing I can't currently say whether I've actually had covid-19 or not. Tuesday, had a cough that came from nowhere, tight chest and feeling hot. Wednesday the cough was gone along with the temp to be replaced by achy, heavy legs and tight chest continued. I've had a few headaches, which I don't normally get, but It's getting better everyday. It's been frustrating because currently I don't know for certain whether I've been self isolating for a reason, but my gut says I have it. Boris says there's an antibody test coming soon and hopefully I'll get that and be able to of use knowing that I'm not going to pass anything on. I was never that worried for myself and I'm obviously hoping for a positive antibody test. Self isolation is planned to stop on Tuesday and then back to work Tuesday night unless I'm unwell. Thanks for asking Pete.

Lots of schools shut now JT. Russia will have protective factors with their relatively sparse population but I'm sure they'll get it like the rest of us. Spanish flu of 1918 springs to mind, when the only folk advertising they had were the Spanish.

okfornow, lots of us are in the same position. 50p would give me the opportunity to change my life also in a few years with some more shrewd investments and they wouldn't have to multi bag. Good luck to you and everyone else in both health and wealth.

Certainly lots of buying opportunities and I wish I had some spare cash to invest. Got to weigh up having some spare cash for other things at the moment though. Booked to go to Turkey for a week in June and my gut says that's not gonna happen so I could be investing that, but hey ho, it's all up in the air. It's different for everyone, the timing I mean, I don't need a return on my investments for at least 6 years but if you're planning to use the cash in the summer, not as good and I have sympathy.

PF, sorry I don't see the abuse because I filter people who abuse. I filter the rude, I filter the nasty. I agree that bullies should be stood up to, but doing the same thing back to them is also bullying. Ian, Tilly, Mac and a good number of the other guys stand up to the obvious troublemakers without being rude as I have done myself on occasion. I'm certainly not perfect though and some of them get to me. Please try and be nice everyone. I know we don't have much meaningful business to talk about because of the suspension but bitterness and abuse tennis is a drag on the brain.
