1 % accumulation seen today.......certainly big enough buys to support this theory..............if it happens tomorrow then 3 straight days in a row and will we see TR1 Thurs / Fri ???..........stranger things have happened :)

LROG..,...I have similar thoughts and posted earlier today that some large buys in the afternoon ....12 approx amounted to the tune of 1% of shares in issue.....but some on here don't want to recognise that possibility of someone or some insti loading up.

Spike....you seem to know everything....how can you be certain that someone or some institution has not accumulated 1% of the shares ?.......I was only making an observation where as you post as though you are on the inside

just over a dozen large buys on Friday accumulating 1% of shares in issue........wonder if same will happen again Tues/Wed......then TR1 for 3%....just a thought......hhmm

Spike.....No offence intended but the only FACT we know is the major has decided not to extend.
Whether an offer was made / implied / or not is immaterial to what i was getting at.
Maybe the major never had any intention of offering a deal form the start.
My point was that they made a very clever clever move to get access to all the data for $1m.
It was mentioned on here some weeks back that the data was worth in excess of $250m.
Now they have seen all that data for a fraction of that price.
Smart move if they have belief in what they have seen.
The next few weeks may be interesting IMO.

Hi Lynthip.........I agree.....If I were in their position and what was offered was knocked back then I think that would be my next move. Or maybe a deliberate ploy to see all the data for only $1m and maybe play dirty and deliberately put in a low offer knowing it would get refused. We will never know unless we start seeing a multitude of large buys in the coming weeks and the subsequent TR1,s noting ineterest and of course identifying the major.
Just have to wait and see and AIMO.

from Spain holiday (with cr*p internet) to read Fridays RNS..........gutted.
Really thought there was a deal to be done here.
However as mostly carrying a freebie will still be holding.
Without looking back at all posts since this RNS dropped has there been any discussion regarding possibility of.....

1. BPC turned down potential Major offer as too low. Major says ok then no further extension. Major will then know on RNS the sp will tank as as happened.

2.Major then puts in place plans to start buying ASAP on open market now hat they have seen all the data which has only cost them $1m. Could prove to be a smart move by them to get a majority holding on the cheap. SP will obviously rise as free float becomes less and less.

say given the potential this share has to benefit holders I am surprised at the low numbers of daily posts on this board. When I think of UKOG last year when it went to 11p there was 1200 posts each day ......I may be wrong but this board has never reached that....have the herd still to arrive and when they do it will be frenzy when deal is announced.......or is there something I am missing....insti buy in maybe ....dont know just thought i would put it out there

Think there has been some top slicing today by the number of late sells in the afternoon............hopefully tomorrow anticipation continues and momentum build up again to reach over 7.5 / mid 8s

same tomorrow please then RNS Thursday announcing deal then the fireworks....:-).....GLA

It touched 6.72 a number of weeks ago.....8p will be robbery IMO....needs to be multiples from where we sit today

is that for anyone to propose / initiate a reduction in their own future entitlements they would only do that knowing the bigger prize prize awaits further down line.
