through BPC's own website and you can find the BG own petroleum act published 2 years ago. This goes into detail amongst other things regarding environmental damage etc and responsibility for clean up etc. If BPC,s EA approval plan meets all the necessary requirements as regards to risk, risk management, risk mitigation, corrective actions etc, as has been hinted at, then EA should be on the cards surely. Just a matter of time and apparently there is a meeting once per month of all E board members. So 3 to 4 meetings past already......... ?

the other week that EA application was 27th April and six days later we had exclusivity agreement and was hoping for some news this week as the 12 weeks were up.
We now have the extension news which IMO is great, and my assumption was correct therefore are we going to get EA / JV announcement in next week ?
In six or seven days.........one mother of all announcements.......I certainly hope so and would not want to be out....GLA

barrels at $30 per barrel = $48 billion.
25% of $48 billion is $12 billion.
$12 billion divided by 1.6 billion is $7.5 per share = £5.75.
28 billion barrels sp would be £100.

Think you misplaced your decimal points in you calc.......how nice would these prices be but in reality IMO between 25 - 65p if all goes to plan.

hopeful of news this week one way or other.Twelve weeks are on Thursday so in my head thats the first three months so price sensitive news has to be made public imo.

to the end of the first 3 months......Thursday is the 26th July which is exactly 12 weeks from 3rd May exclusivity announcement..........got to admit to getting a bit twitchy now...........desperately hoping for deal or extension to be announced Wed / Thurs this week...........The Bahamas needs it.....hell I need it.... but I am mindful of the last paragraph of the main statement in the 3rd May RNS.................got to remain positive I guess until the decision is made. this Friday since EA approval application.....then six days later exclusivity agreement....are we going to see a similar pattern .....get EA approval this Friday then six days later JV deal announced ?......hope so :-)

if.....resource is proven rhen upside projection of 28 billion barrels takes it into the top 15 STOIIP on the planet.......exciting to be in at this time.... :-)

trading days left till end of 3 month period......anticipation building.....leak seems to be evident .....ir we get 5% increase in sp per day this would take it into double figures before the news we hope for llands....I hope so....GLA

Red. ......I have had similar thoughts but my other holdings look potentially profitable so decided against eggs in one basket scenario.....may prove to be wrong decision if this comes off big time but if it comes off at least I am in :-)

billion barrels of oil is considered a giant in the oil world. This has the potential of upwards of 1.6 billion barrels and beyond......unbelievably MEGA if it comes off........GLA

If you are aiming at 30p what difference does it make buying in at 4.8 rather than 5.5 ffs.....some people are never happy
