After the initial crash on Monday I bought some at 60p; I do that from time to time where I think the market has completely over-reacted to the downside. It's worked for me before a few times. I thought I had got it wrong this time, but maybe not. I would be happy with 10% profit but might wait for Carapa results after Xmas.

I've held this for the last coupla years. I think the US-Sino trade war will blow over in the next year or so. At one stage in the last year I was up 20%; that's when I sold BHP. I'll hold out with RIO and take the dividents. Everything is about sentiment and perception; there is no such thing as the real value of an asset. Brexit and China are the two big drivers of perceived 'value' right now. This too will change.

Long time since I've been on LSE. I bought SAGA a couple of days ago as it seemed very undervalued based on the basic profitiability of the company and the very low P/E ratio. Gratified by the rise this afternoon but it would need to rise more to justify dealing costs and my effort and risk! I will sell if it rises in the next coupla weeks. I did the same with KIER group; bought after the drastic drop two weeks ago and got out soon after. It really is like catching a falling knife but there are times when you say; "Hang on this is too bad to be true".

This is a share to buy at the very bottom. Then when it's at about 1p, buy loads of it and spend a few hundred quid passing it onto the grandchildren. By the time you are fossil fuel, your share certificate will be worth a fortune.

Sounds like they need time to decide how to deal with dissenting voices - particularly Worldview.

Hi I guess I don't take things too seriously here and was being a bit frivolous ! I'm just a small shareholder on the side-lines and ..well I cannot but find the whole dynamics of the SP amusing. If it wasn't so tragic it would be hilarious. Does nobody get the comedy? Am I on the wrong board? OOPs! Good luck to all of you.

Mmm...so if red is really blue and blue means red and buy means sell and sell means buy...ergo black is white. Does that mean that when the share price keeps falling I am getting richer and richer?! Brilliant I'm booking that second holiday straight away!!!

Mickeey is it just LSE that is quiet lately? What other forums , boards do you use? I'm only in for about 2k about 3 months ago and it's a small percentage of my portfolio. I agree with your annoyance but I'm a small shareholder. Good luck tho. There is plenty of history on this board to suggest that there is something very strange going on with the SP. I also just do not get the concept of a 'buy' trade being reported as a sell. Apparently this is normal on the AIM! I'm only back in stock market for 6 months or so and the more I look the weirder things get! Look at AIB SP ; even though Noonan sys the governments 99% share could be worth 11bn, the remaining 1% is being traded at huge multiples. Nothing makes sense to me anymore in the stock market. Nothing! Value appears to be a function of perception and not fundamentals. Dare I say it, even fundamentals are a function of perception...? Petroceltic still appears to be a very strange and enigmatic share in terms of SP movement vs news though!

Mickeey I did comment last week that Worldview has been steadily increasing its stake and the SP has been steadily falling over the same period. It's absurd. Does this mean that Worldview can take over the whole company at around half of current SP? Only logical conclusion I can see!!! Don't know why I'm holding really. My holding is relatively small. I suppose I'm holding out for some really negative news that, based on recent trends will cause the SP to rise!!!

allmoyne why do you say inm is due an "up week"...isn't apn irrelevant now?

offerman thanks...what questions were in email to chairman of PCI...if you don't mind me asking. At this stage after only 3 months I'm considering bailing out of this share as there seems to be no logic in the SP performance! A previous poster (I forget the name) said that if you look at every positive RNS release in relation to the company, the SP falls! Other posters have suggested that the SP is being 'manipulated' by mm's and others have suggested that the AIM market is 'crooked'. Given positive stake-building by Worldview and correlative negative trend in SP is there anyone left following this board who can tell me that the takeover scenario at a much lower SP is not realistic, as per my previous post?!

carp I don't think you are cynical. I am just gobsmacked how an institution like Worldview can top up its holding so substantially over the last few months that I've held the shares and that the SP can fall so substantially. I'm amazed! Am I missing something here? From what I've seen over the last 3 months Worldview can keep increasing it's stake at even lower levels for and the price just keeps falling. The logical progression of this trend is that the entire company can be bought out at a lmuch lower price and investors like me will have to accept the price...? Sounds completely crazy I know... is there something I don't understand? Normally a takeover results in the existing investor getting a windfall - not making a loss. I'm just nonplussed to be honest.

OK so I'm new here and I am in reality laughing. Please help me to understand! Please! OK so I see a large sell trade today from 14 March delayed and you guys really think it's a 'buy'...? I am a very small shareholder but going long on this because of undervaluation of sector as well as research, Wexboy's analysis. Sorry I know I am inexperienced and if I sold tomorrow it would have no effect on the SP. Can anyone please explain how a trade recorded on LSE can be interpreted as a buy when it is recorded as a sell?!! OK so I am completely stupid, thick or whatever. But I am not colour-blind. Red is sell. Blue is buy. Plus the stock has been losing cents like a leaky bucket. Can anyone enlighten me? I'm holding regardless!

How long should it take for a trade like that to show in the share price? Still looking at - 2% or so on this site...?

I get the sensation of sliding downwards on this share. Before I dump can anyone tell me why I should hold - in terms of fundamentals or future expectations?

I have limited exposure here having bought recently. About 14 yrs ago I turned Bula from 1c to 11c on 500 stake. the 5k profit I made was spent on luxuries. Then I also lost on a company Tuskar and they just folded. I held Providence at 1c in year 2000 and look at it now - but there has obviously been a share consolidation since then but I can't see it from 10 year history? I'm currently down about 7% on PCI. It's getting a bit boring. Can anyone give me a case to hold or to buy on further weakness? It won't affect the share price as my holding is small!! I'm in profit elsewhere and can afford to take a hit.

Mickeey, thanks for reply last week. Can I ask you what you mean by PCI being a 'manipulated share'? Just learning and prob I should have done a bit more research.

Thanks also for the welcome Mickeey, it's a refreshing change! I am an amateur investor really. That does not mean I'm stupid...I can see how the Oil and gas exp sector has been oversold and I'm dipping in at the bottom.
