no I'm not sure they are, sp has done what I expexted in advance in that it's dropped to the placing price, open offer buyers were probably hoping to flip those for 10% on open and now that's not going to happen. I'm with btfaith I think this will probably be quite flat for a while so there might be an opportunity under the placing price, but I can't see anything due that will propel this forward yet

or if not look at your share summary on HL, there should be a black corporate action option on the share under the 'Actions' column

You should have been advised by your broker, HL always e-mail me, there will be a deadline too

you do realise that those that are buying into the open offer would be able to sell those immediately (on 16/7) at a profit as it stands, not sure the mms will want this to happen, will likely get to £1 by then imo

I'm having a good laugh at some of the 'research' on Canaccord this evening.
WSG shares were held within 2 funds, the Marlborough Microcap growth fund and the Marlborough Nanocap fund, both of which have historically been, and still are, run by Giles Hargreave. I know because both funds have done very well through the years for my pension, and I read their accounts and holdings twice a year, and from what I can tell Canaccord haven't meddled at all. At the last account they had 10.6m shares in the Microcap fund (which invests in ftse 250 & aim companies), and 2.5m shares in the nanocap fund (primary focus on those with a market capitalisation below £100m).
My suspicion is that they have sold the majority from the Microcap fund as this would balance the 2 holdings, they tend to focus on adding to shares that have done well and ditching losers.
Maybe they didn't like what they heard at the agm.

What makes you say it's a closed period, it's normally within 2 months of the results and those aren't until 24th September ?

It sounds like they only removed it due to a conflict of interest, I'm assuming LT own shares in HL and HL don't wish to be promoting the fund as it may be seen as promoting for the wrong reasons

It doesn't look like they have rns'd results to 31/12/18 but they do appear on their website. What caught my eye is the increased cash to $17.4m which is approximately equivalent to their mcap of £14m, so doesn't allow for any of their holdings prospects or the potential for additional earn outs, $4.8m is also due to be paid to Thalassa Nov 19 from wgp

Hi Purley, no I guess that my average over all years must be at the point we are here as I've only just climbed back into profit overall, the holding I have right now is the only holding I have and was bought in the early 7's, I've only been trading this since I originally gave up on them and sold the majority around 18/20

Haven't really got a clue tbh in answer to your first question, but any sign of a delay to any signing and I'll be off. I do try and look forward but history smells, I remember my first dealings with PF at THAT agm left me with instinctive good vibes that aren't normally wrong so I've been surprised by what has followed, I read an item recently about family business being a probable red flag and immediately thought of wsg.
Trying to keep level headed tbh, so avoid reading the bb too often, it's still rated after all a 'sucker stock' according to Stockopedia, but I do hope it comes good for the long termers and for PF, me I'm just glad to be back at an overall profit, it's taken a long haul from being £15k down at one point

Well I've finally bagged on this trade, still holding while I can't lose. Still don't fully trust this bunch though until the contract is officially signed, that agm statement was somewhat 'timely' after all imo, and I'd also like to see real indications of what sort of profit they will gain from this exercise rather than the lofty expectations given on this bb, way I see it is we're still small fry so don't necessarily have much clout, and If they intend to raise at some point I'd like to see them raise enough to clear the cln debt

Mike, I've often thought F1 would be far more exciting if the better cars/drivers started at the back, that's what they do in stock car racing and fun to watch the better drivers making their way through
