I've made that mistake countless times in the past, then suddenly after selling you get a share tip, a bit of news, a holdings rns, and then it's gone. I'm sitting on a healthy profit however so I just want to see where this goes at the moment

Because you would be selling at a loss, and that just won't do for your 'perfect' trading record, the better traders are able to sell their losers

Go easy on him Aim, you have to feel sorry for him trashing it under 6p while the sensible were buying and selling for over 100%, it's really not his fault he bought towards the top and now watching a loss, damn that must be sooo annoying

No, but the 2 elements are related, if it's of no interest to you then just ignore the related comments, seems an obvious solution

yes BB done that before and agree, he might use an adviser or similar to manipulate his spreadsheet now and again to keep it 'nice'.
He does make for some decent trades though without a doubt, it was his buy that persuaded me to hold on to Safecharge (which I'd already held for 2 years) when it looked like it was going nowhere, eventually bought out, and many of his buys do sometimes go onto greater things (ipos in particular)

I do have a lot of time for his trading methods and his books have definitely improved my trading I just dislike some of what appears to be underhand stuff to keep him looking great, I visited one of his seminars (they are worth it) and came away with a trade of my own that slipped under his radar and paid off handsomely, what I didnt like beforehand was the offer in his e-mail of paying for his tips ahead of the rest, I was like hang on if your teaching is going to make us so good why would we need to pay for your tips ? I didn't buy and never have out of principle.

Maybe we'll hear from his next blog that he sold at the top here and it fell away so much he rebought it ! I'm honest enough to admit I sold way too early at just over 7 but managed to fortunately rebuy those same shares at 6.70 this morning :) imo it wouldn't surprise me to see an offer eventually come in for tpg (another pump I learnt from RB's blogs :)
