I'm in for this year's ISA Bad.
Not sure about my son but I've suggested if he's going to choose Petro Matad he should be quick.
As WOS says: RNS any day!

No Bad.
Slight change of plan.
I'm getting mine today and I've funded my son to get his but suggested he buy either Matad or Rockhopper.
Despite my confidence in Petro Matad it's not good to be too exposed so I'm holding off on funding my two daughters at the moment.
Any more on the ground intel from WOS or others however and it might still end up 'in the pot'.
I've been following /investing in Petro Matad for years and years on and off.
It's never felt this close or this real.
Oil, permissions, change of laws, central and local support, an oil refinery, Winter fuel crisis, Herder agreement and now a Sovereign Wealth Fund for national resources, I get the sense that everything's moving their way now.
As a family we've plenty invested already so I'll stick at that for now.
The risk have fallen sequentially over time whilst this hasn't been reflected in the Share Price.
With the benefit of hindsight this might be the moment that yields the greatest returns in the shortest time frame.
Soon find out.
A good effort I thought yesterday.
Still more excellent posts and information from the usual providors.
In what way can it not be obvious what will happen here?
Mongolia declare the Heron Field as being of National strategic interest and now a Norway style Soverign Wealth Fund.
Everyone will want this to happen.
Oil then Sunsteppe renewables.

I'm not replying to 'Prof'.
Might I suggest that others consider this too?
He adds little and relies even less so.
In real life if someone insisted on telling you the same nonsense over and over you'd simply walk away wouldn't you?
Thanks again WOS.
The 'on the ground' information has added so much for me over the last 6 to 12 months for me.
The company has been pushing for years to get Heron on stream with only Mr Buck's words to suggest that it might happen one day. It was all too easy to see how buearocratic inefficiency and outright corruption might prevent this from ever happening.
But one by one those barriers have been removed.
Central Government has been won over as to the need to change their ways, which they have.
National fuel supply issues/crisis information has been posted to given persuasive background context.
At a National and Local level politicians and locals now appear to see the need for Mongolia to produce Mongolian oil, this year.
Mr Buck's 'parallel' National/local level approach appears to be working well at both levels.
Well done Sir!
I look forward to shaking your hand one day to say thank you (as well as sending a Thank You card to our ambassador).
The only worry I had was a potentially obstructive Regional Governor with a track record with a record of disruptive behaviour.
Now Government are openly warning them to 'back off'.
It's been a while but I think we're on the cusp of something big.
Heron and beyond!
Only if the 'negative angle' has validity and can't be discounted through reasoned debate.
Or report and pretend it never happened and doesn't exist?
That's worked well so far has it?
I give this post 5 minutes.... you win.
Except in the real World you don't.
There was always going to be an AGM so an RNS was due.
Unlikely that timings relate to on the ground events but probably delayed as long as possible to allow for as an up to date update as possible which is fine by me.
A good comprehensive operations update will be interesting and might be transformational IF the permit has been received. If not likely a little longer to wait. Major set backs unlikely.
Nothing's changed today but it's getting closer.
4x ISAs Monday. In for a penny?
ICE quite often folk roll out a Buffet quote or two....
The Stock Market being an efficient mechanism of transferring wealth from the impatient to the patient?
But does that mean patiently holding or patiently waiting to buy in?
So far with Avacta it's the later.
To be fair they have a proven track record of strategic planning...
A fund raise to purchase and develop their diagnostic division.
Then a fund raise and we're offloading said companies for whatever we can get for them.
Or are you talking about the ad hoc redesign of the 1a AVA6000 trial, the 2 week arm of which has just dosed its 3rd patient over 3 months behind schedule.
Or the serially dilutative Heights finance deal that they're still reliant on, next round in 3 weeks at sub 50p a pop.
Their track record to date Strangy isn't great, but I guess it can only get better?
Avacta in a single post Energy?
TMac. 'Potentially transformational' and 'early discussions' with several pharmaceutical companies!
Sounds good! Get in quick!
But 2018.
6 years.
And what's happened?
Shutting down the narrative to protect the investment prospects for new investors.
Just like they've been doing for the last 4 years.
A service for the community.
And we should listen to you because......?
ICE.
Can you copy and paste a single thing you've said (on this board) in the last 6 months that's come even remotely close to what's actually happened?
Actually that's not fair.
The last 24 months.
To be fair to Ice Wynn did you manage to call the share price depreciation as a sign of an obvious, nailed on, incoming Big Phara deal like ICE did?
No, I thought not.
He knows what he's talking about that man.
Efficacy.
There was always going to be a presentation with the poster.
And pre-submitted questions!
Spoiler alert?
It's safe.......
and early signs of clinical efficiency!
