The buy limit I left with HL for 5000 shares at 64p has just been triggered.

Not sure why the big drop, although there is talk on other boards, NFX & OPRH for example, of IG requiring 100% margins on certain stocks. I don’t invest with IG so don’t know if POLX is affected?

Hope it is just a temporary blip. GLA

I like that idea Chab, a sort of NFX RNS sweepstake. I’m going for the 15th March as a completely random guess. Hope it’s a big one.

Always respect your posts Strictly, but in this instance we will have to agree to disagree regarding NTs. I use HL and quite often have to leave limits because I can’t a get live price on some of the stocks I trade. Bit of a nuisance, but it’s my SIPP and I haven’t found anywhere else yet I want to move it to.

For what it’s worth, my broker just contacted me. He is a fellow NFX investor and I have dealt with him for over 20 years and have the utmost respect for him.

He, like a lot of us, has been impressed with the new CEO and thinks the tide has finally turned. He has persuaded me (despite me vowing no more top ups) to add to my holding. In his opinion on a risk/reward basis it is worth adding new money. So I have taken the plunge.
But this is the final top up, honest! GLA

Yes, you could be right Mavern, and very happy to be proved wrong about it being quiet until the Autumn.

I’ve been invested since May last year and topped up three times since and will continue to do so on dips.
It might be a bit quiet till the Autumn, but I’m in for the long term.

Evening everyone, made my first investment in AGL on Friday. I have been following it for a couple of months and was hoping for a bit of a retrace before buying, but it’s kept on going up. Normally would have bought on a dip rather than near a 52 week high.

Thanks for some good posts. Understand why some people might want to lock in some profit, but for a new investor, like me, it still looks compelling.

Just been in sitting in the dark for an hour or so after a power cut (not far from you HartlepoolBob). Feels a bit like being invested in NFX and trying to fathom why all the BOD musical chairs. Especially DG resigning and now CB.
I’m holding, but no more top ups, I have been there before and still substantially in the red. But I am 60 quid up on the last one, almost cashed it in in the excitement!

Perhaps it’s a bizarre annual NFX ritual. DT resigned last February.

Sorry to do a double quote with Filter & FX, but I agree with Filter and have also had the same concerns that FX has. I have made money and lost money on shares before, but the one share I really bought into both with cash and the concept is NFX. Still holding on and hoping for the best in what is really a pivotal Q1. ATB

Agree about giving the new board time, and the consensus seems to be that the the new CEO interviewed well. She certainly looks like she has the right credentials to take the company forward.

However, after such a dire past year it is not surprising that there has been some discontented and cynical posters.

I last bought at 2.49p, and I was tempted to dump after the pump and lock in a small gain, the only time I have ever been in profit.

The majority of my shares are so massively in the red I will keep them in the hope of eventually greater things. I am a lot more encouraged than I was before the new BOD members came on board. GLA

Yes, I am regretting already my top up yesterday.

I’ve topped up today, even though I swore I never would. Must admit I never expected for the buy limit I put in last year to be triggered. I didn’t think we could go any lower.

I would have joined you Jimzi & Markshares, but NT with HL.

It depends on what price you bought at. Some of my top ups are in the red but I’m confident that this is just short term.
I’m looking forward to hearing what CF has to say in his next presentation.
