Heavily invested in Orph and topped up again last week.
Only concern is “ While 2021 will represent record revenues for the Company and a return to full year EBITDA profitability, it is somewhat behind analyst expectations as the anticipated COVID-19 challenge studies will now likely commence in 2022….”
Interesting to see the SP at 8.00.

Goup, I am tentatively reconsidering my options, but with a degree of caution as I have lost a lot of money on NFX. A lot more than Alistair invested today.
But to me it is encouraging because:
* Alistair, albeit a relatively small sum, has invested.
* AB has done a reassuring presentation. Which combined with Alistair’s investment demonstrates some desire to communicate with investors & bolster the SP.
* JH & DG still hold.
* I believe AB when she says she wants to leave the company in a better state than when she started. It may not be reflected in the SP but I think she had some shoring up to do after the last BOD.

My thanks too Jay for the link. I know JW is heavily invested in Polarean and promotes it regularly but I agree with his concluding comments that “not many opportunities come around like this”.
I have also watched RH’s presentations and a couple from the respected fund manager Paul Jourdon from Amati. I accept there are risks and I do have a few nerves as FDA approval approaches and the SP is stuck in the 80-90p range. But patience and conviction IMO will be very well rewarded. GLA

I very much doubt FDA approval will be rejected. But I did wonder myself at the timing of the sell.
I was hoping that we would start to head up back to the £1 mark but today may be an opportunity for a small top up. GLA

Any views on the half-year report?

My take is that everything is progressing in line with expectations and all positives.

Yes, losses increased “due primarily to the commercial launch preparation expenses” but that I think is inevitable and expected.

RH has again mentioned cardiology (in the Outlook) and I think the long term prospects for POLX and what it can bring to the field of medical diagnosis are absolutely huge.

It is a shame that frustrations with slow communication and the poor performance of the SP have boiled over into acrimonious posts on the board.

Hope you get the Q&A’s soon and that they contain some positive news. The fact that JH & DG still hold a stake in the company has kept me interested, although though not currently invested at the moment. GLA

Morning everyone, old habits die hard and I still check in even though I sold end of July.
Occasionally I am tempted to buy back in but my exit price was 1.46p (brilliant timing as usual) so I have resisted the urge.
I hope that you get an RNS with good news soon and some solid reassurances at the AGM.
If I were to reinvest it would partly be because DG & JH still seem to have a stake in the company and because I would hope that AB would not want to have NFX showing as a blot on her CV.
Anyhow all the best, NFX investors definitely deserve some good news for their loyalty.

Don’t agree Moniman, I think Blah, Bronx, Earache and others who question & challenge CF are good for a balanced board.
Share prices fluctuate but OO have had a right whacking recently. I have kept the faith and added in the middish twenties, and will continue, for now to hold. Ultimately the only thing of relevance is the SP. I admire many aspects of CF and am reassured he has a lot of skin in the game, but I am more cautious now.

Thanks Wally, that is a brilliant summary. Even though I watched the presentation I did miss a few comments when CF was rattling through the questions towards the end. Great job, thank you.

Thanks Researcher1 & Boonco. I’m sure your right. I might have come late to Angle but I think it’s a great company with a cracking future in store.
In the meantime I will try and accumulate on the dips.
