Thanks JT and I agree. What I don’t agree with is the way RAH states it in such a manner that it comes over as fact. It isn’t. It is, as you say a (likely) possibility.

Ditto with the commencement of C6, which RAH has at the 20th June. Anecdotal feedback from the AGM (in the offline chats), was that at the time of the AGM (28th) the first patient hadn’t been dosed, but that it was imminent. But of course, no one knows for certain because we have had no formal confirmation.

I don’t disagree with the first part of RAH’s sentence, but to my knowledge we have had no confirmation that the intention is to “dose patients weekly as well as every 21 days”.

There was a question asked at the AGM - “given the reduction in side effects we're seeing so far, is it possible for phase 1b that you can reduce the dosage timeline from three weeks to say two weeks or a week?” Alistair’s answer was a succinct “In principle yes”. So it is a possibility, but not a definite statement of fact that this will happen.

WG - “Think before you post” - I think you should take your own advice. If you don’t want to broaden your knowledge and understanding that’s fine but you are looking for an agenda with this question that is not there. I think you have been out of order with the comments that you have directed at C2H.

WG, it was me who initially asked the question, which was genuine and in no way an attempt to deramp. I am comfortable with my investment and the belief that AVA6000 will massively extend the amount of chemotherapy cycles that a patient can receive and the quality of their lives.

But I am still interested to know if AVA6000 can circumvent the problems of drug resistance and the escape mechanisms that some tumours and cells can develop over time.

C2H, sorry for your loss and I too am “totally supportive of this share, product, and company.”

Could I ask a question please regarding drug resistance/tumours developing escape mechanisms. Is this something that could eventually put a cap on the amount of AVA6000 dosing cycles? Or is this something that AVA6000 can effectively bypass?

I think AVCT clearly are interested in breast cancer and ovarian, but equally clearly, that due to the costs etc involved, it would be after Phase 1b. To infer anything more is probably a bit speculative.

Yeah, I mean, obviously, there's resource constraints, because to take it into another clinical trial in an indication like breast and ovarian would, and again, I'll look to Elliot and Fiona to comment, would be far more expensive than going into soft tissue sarcoma. So yes, I mean, we certainly are thinking about what those other indications are that we can go into. I would say post phase 1b when we have a good efficacy signal, I hope from from patients in soft tissue sarcoma, then we can think about opportunities to go into other indications. Fiona?

Fiona’s reply was more lengthy and concluded with “So you have to have a different type of trial design with a lot of patients for that to be successful. So that's something you could do again, after a significant amount of financial backing to do that study, but I definitely think breast and ovarian are two areas where we would have a significant amount of of interest to do those trials.”

Thanks Vaggie1, the 98p buys are no longer showing on the LSE trades, so perhaps there was a bit of a glitch. I bought earlier in the week (at a higher price) and am considering another top up.

LSE is showing a load of buys at 98p, the best quote I can get is 98.7p on HL. I am just wondering how accurate the trades are on LSE. Is anyone else trying to buy or has bought this morning?

Agree BV, but I guess given all that is going on within the company there must be a significant amount of closed periods for director dealings?

I don’t know what the options are all linked to? But like RD’s suggestion that one of the main targets should be the SP, to fully align the board’s financial interests with their investors.

After such a detailed AGM I don’t know if the company will do an interims presentation. But if they do have one, a question I would ask/request is if they could RNS when the first patient has been dosed for each new cohort. It would just eliminate some of the speculation that inevitably swirls round start dates.

Simon how can you come up with 57 days for C6 when we haven’t been given a start date? The best indication we have had is feedback from the AGM with the offline “informal chats” which said early July. But we, obviously, have had no official confirmation.

RM based on your own AGM notes (and feedback from others) are we not more likely to be six weeks into C6? I think the trial was open at the time of the AGM (28/6) but they hadn’t started dosing. From your summary “ Cohorts V1 will commence early July.”

In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter but at this moment in time we really want news and although we must be close I don’t think we are 8 weeks into the dosing cycle.

IMO the questions asked by PI’s are often more interesting and insightful than those asked by the analysts. There were some excellent questions asked at the April Investor Meet presentation.

Rah’s at it too - stating assumptions as fact. According to his latest tweet we are 56 days into cohort 6, which would make the commencement date the 20th June. I don’t know when C6 started as there has been no official confirmation. The best indications we have had has come from those that attended the AGM. RMFatGB for example (in an excellent AGM summary), posted on here that attendees “were also able to have off-line discussions with Alistair Smith, the executive team and the front end scientists….Cohorts 6 will commence early July.” That is at least ten days after the 20th June start date used by RAH.

If people are going to post assumptions on Twitter, even if they are educated guesses/estimates, they should be caveated. Otherwise, and I’m sure it’s not intentional in Rah’s case, it is misleading.

Could Myles et al try a bit harder please with the ramping. I got itchy fingers and added a few this morning and they could do with a bit of an SP boost.

Perhaps the “congregation” are suffering from Twitter fatigue because all the twatter posts haven’t done much to boost the SP.

I don’t agree with Wyn, I view the trial extensions as a positive because AVA6000 has exceeded expectations. The company have had to adapt their plans and timescales accordingly.

But I don’t mind Wyn’s posts because they do bring some balance and he has been more realistic in his short term expectations than say, for example, Rah who has been way of the mark on occasion. He stands up for himself against the usual backlash he gets and I respect that.

It’s certainly a pretty hard share to be invested in, especially for LTH’s. Fevertree has been very critical of the company and a lot of it imo is justified.

There was only eight trades on Friday and the combined total was only about 10k. I really hope we get some decent news before the September interims as the year is ticking by now. And I don’t want to sit through yet another presentation of ‘we are in discussions with numerous potential customers” etc, I have heard that too many times now 🙁
