Your so certain apple wouldn't settle . But would you bet your home on it??? ! I think not, neither would I, Apple will settle ,when and for how much is anyone's guess .

God your thorough with your research Laguerre, and if your right I could possibly qualify for a bonus payment from any possibly settlement from Apple, thank you, I'm just finished watching question time after recording it , and I'm retiring to my bed now for a great sound good night's sleep. Imagination will have no problems now financially while taking on Apple over infringed patents , as you say if it dragged on over a long and litigating fight with Apple then cayon bridges would pay the bill and probably recoup the money out of any settlement with Apple, and if imagination loose then canyon bridges Pays all the bill and we pay nothing, that's why cayon bridges gets 50% of the winnings. We are in that enviable position of no win no fee , and just possibly we could get a nice xmas present from Apple . GLA

Another thing if imagination loose the litigation against Apple then it would only be cost incurred in the litigation, lawyers court cost etc, but I'm sure imagination knows when someone is infringing on there own patents ? , And Apple and many other tech companies frequently infringe on patents , and just wait on till the lawyers letters arrive , it's when big money is at stake do they all call in the lawyers, I believe imagination have a strong case against Apple but as to the timing of a settlement and pay out , I wouldn't make a call on that one . I would be amazed if it all happened inside 90 days .

It was my understanding that the 60 days to reach agreement and 90 days to receive full payment was a imagination wish list to shareholders but if any litigation dragged on over say years then us the shareholders on the registar at a give point would still benefit from any settlement, but I could possibly be completely wrong here , and why shouldn't we benefit from any settlement as canyon bridges has bought imagination on the cheap in my humble opinion.

I'm staying in to the death, this is a done deal in my opinion ,getting the full current offer price , but more importantly no one really knows what the possible settlement will be, it could be substantial and 50% of that will do nicely / this year / next year or when ever, at least you have a much better chance of winning than doing the lottery LOL, and who knows if Apple still want imaginations IP and avoiding spending time with its lawyers and a very possibly pay out to imagination shareholders. Whatever anyone does with their holding well just good luck to you all , I'm holding onto my 15000 shares and sleeping soundly LOL

Theresa may doesn't want to get on the wrong side of the Chinese , as she wants good trade deals ,and imagination will be happily waived through, but she will state that assurances have been given about jobs and cayon bridges intentions, you couldn't justify any national concerns here, other than china wants to buy everything that can be bought.

I would believe teresa May would only be to glad for a offer from cayon bridges for imagination, and to safeguard uk jobs , I can see no real conflict. Of national security interest here, and the securing of Imaginations workforces jobs a more important priority. Imho

My take on it EG solutions is a completely different type of company and take out price, , a heavy premium would come into it if any company wanted to get there hands on imaginations Intellectual property portfolio ,and use it in there own developments , Apple would definitely like to get there hands on imaginations IP portfolio ,but can't bid unless another bid is made , because of its last approach , there is far to much intellectual property there to loose to a competitor. , I believe they are well prepared to show there hand after a first bid is announced from canyon bridge capital partners tomorrow or very soon . And if that happens then apple just might have to pay what it should have offered to imagination in there initial take over approach . It's most likely that Apple will still steal imagination cheaper than its first approach . But who knows what kind of money and power lies behind cayons/ China's ultimate offer. It's really a financial and political chess game . Which should be really exciting should them two offers be made. And we possibly only have a few days to wait for a first offer. Possible starting offer price on £ 70 million turnover, after Apple's turnover taken out , on a typical take out price of 8/10 Times turnover industry standard = approximately a £ 2.10 But if apples still interested in bidding for imagination technologies a take out price of £3.50 could be justified only by Apple, should a bidding war take place. . But that scenario is unlikely . But not completely ruled out.
